  He is the thief

  Washington was the first president of the U.S. He was very clever even when he was still a 12-year-old-boy.

  Once a thief stole some money from Uncle Post, Washington's neighbor. The door of the house was not broken, and things in the room were in good order. Washington concluded that the thief must have been committed by one of the villagers.

  That evening at the villagers' meeting the said, "We don't know who stole the money but God does. God sends his wasp to tell good from evil. Every night the wasp flies among us but few people notice it…" Then, all of a sudden Washington waved his hand and cried out, "Look! The wasp has landed on the thief's hat. It is going to sting!"

  "Now we know who stole the money," Washington said with a smile.

  一、教学现状分析

  本教材的教学目标是激发学生学*英语的兴趣,培养他们英语学*的积极态度,使他们建立初步的学*英语的自信心;培养学生装一定的语感和良好的语音、语调,书写基础,以及良好的学**惯;使他们形成初步用英语进行简单交流的能力,同时,培养学生的观察、记忆、思维和创造的能力。

  翻阅此教材,总体感觉此教材有如下特点:

  1、强调语言运用

  本教材吸收了交际教学思想,注重学生语言应用能力的培养。在整体构思、内容安排、活动设计和教学方法选用等方面都紧密联系学生的生活实际,体现语言的交际功能,把话题---功能---结构---任务结合起来,并根据学生的年龄特点,采用“全部动作反应法”让学生在有节奏的说唱中体验语言。

  2、注重能力培养

  本教材在内容安排、活动设计和学*评价上都贯穿“学会学*”的主题。十分注重培养学生自主学*和独立运用所学语言去做事情的能力。

  3、突出兴趣出发

  本教材从内容、形式、方法、插图及装帧设计等方面都以最大限度地激发学生的学*动机和兴趣。教学内容紧密联系学生装生活与实际。选择话题充分考虑小学生的需求。

  4、重视双向交流

  本教材重视双向交流,中西方文化知识的渗透,在教学内容中选编了一些适合学生年龄特点和认知能力的中西方文化知识。

  本教材采用了“教案式”的编排体系。每册书共和8个单元,其中 2个复*单元。每单元分ABC三个部分,共10页。

  二、学生情况分析

  三年级学生所学的教材是PEP教材的第一册,是刚刚开始接触英语,对英语充满了好奇心。因此,本学期英语教学将侧重于学生学*兴趣的培养。三(3)班、三(4)班中有部分学生在曙假中学过一期剑桥英语,这部分学生装相对基础较好,这是好的一方面。但这两个班学生人数较多,相对来说,课堂效率的提高有一定的难度。曙光三年级班中民工子女较多,在英语学**惯的培养上有一定难度。

  三、教学目标与要求

  1、能听懂、会说12组会话,并能进行简单的交流。

  2、能听、说、认读73个单词(包括文具、人体部位、颜色、动物、食品、数字等6个话题)、并能简单地运用。

  一、说教材

  本课内容是人教版三年级下册第三单元《At the Z》,第二课时包括Let’s learn和Let’s d Let’s spell三部分。主要教学四个形容词thin, fat, tall, shrt 。

  新英语课程标准指出,基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。根据一级目标要求,对教学内容的分析、本教材的特点及学生现有的基础。

  教学目标:

  1、能听、说、认读thin, fat, tall, shrt,并理解词义。

  2、听懂含有形容词的几个指令,并按指令做动作。

  3、在活动中*得语言,激发学生学*英语的兴趣。教育学生爱护动物,懂得动物是世界不可缺少的一部分。

  教学重、难点

  本课时教学重点是能听、说、认读几个形容词thin, fat, tall, shrt 。听懂含有形容词的几个指令,并按指令做动作。

  教学难点是单词thin的发音。

  二、说学法

  我通过与扮演司机跟导游来吸引学生们的注意力,既复*了新知,活跃了课堂气氛、也拉*了师生之间的距离。学*完本节的单词后,又让学生们用恰当的词语来形容上出现的动物,为了进一步巩固今天的学*要点。而且做到自己造句子。其中,有几次都复*了旧知,把学过的动物单词再次的扩展,让学生们会描述其特征。

  三、说教法

  在本课时的教学设计中,我从学生的兴趣和认知水*出发,利用有趣的图片吸引学生的注意力。再用旅观光团通过唱歌曲、走迷宫活动,让学生在愉快中学*,激发学生学*英语的兴趣,帮助他们建立学*的成就感和自信心。

  通过用旧知识引入本课新知识的方法,让学生主动参与到学*中去。在猜一猜、的活动过程中,尝试做课堂的主人。引导学生观察、思考,使他们不仅掌握本节课的内容,而且在学*过程中,不断产生新经验、新认识,并由此发展学生各方面的能力,形成积极的人生态度,促进个性成长。

  根据学生的个性特点,我主要采用图片、多媒体以及教师丰富的体态语言等教学手段进行教学,它们能活化教材,辅助教师对教学内容进行有序讲解,在讲解的过程中,能充分利用有的教学时间,改善信息的传递方式,增强信息的传递能力,使外语学*变得生动活泼,加深学生对教学内容的理解。

  本部分让学生在游戏活动中熟练运用所学问候语及自我介绍用语。

  3、Let’ssing

  本部分主要通过学生学唱ABCsong,让学生初步接触字母的发音,激发他们对英语学*的兴趣,从而逐步培养学生的语音,语调。

  4、Let’sfindout

  通过找字母,让学生了解字母。

  二、课前准备

  1、将教师用书后所附的本套教材主要人物的图片复印或剪下,涂色后制成头饰。

  2、为班上学生准备出男女生常用的英文名字。

  3、为Let’splay中的游戏准备相应的道具。

  三、教学步骤

  【一】热身(Warm-up)

  不妨请学生说说他们在现实生活中已经了解的英语词汇或日常用语。同时可利用我们生活中学生已经会说或较熟知的词汇如TV,CD,VCD,DVD,OK!Hi!Yeah!Bye!Cool!Wow!E-mail,cartoon等等来激发学生想学英语的兴趣和愿望。

  【二】新课展示(Presentation)

  新课展示一:

  教师播放本课的歌曲“Hello”的录音,自然引出师生之间的打招呼。

  (1)通过教师的自我介绍自然引出Hello,I’m?/Hi,I’m?

  (2)教师可戴上Sarah的头饰介绍Hello!I’mSarah.并用同样方式介绍其他人物。

  (3)让学生到讲台上来,戴上Sarah,ChenJie,Mike的头饰说:Hello!I’m?

  (4)教师戴上WuYifan的头饰说Hi!I’mWuYifan.并与戴Sarah头饰的学生相互问好,并有意在分手时说Goodbye.

  (5)听录音来展示Let’stalk部分的教学内容。

  【三】趣味操练(Practice)

  趣味操练一:

  (1)请戴着WuYifan,ChenJie,Sarah,Mike头饰的学生站在讲台前,另选一同学用眼罩蒙住眼睛,让Sarah等四位同学中的一个说Hello,让蒙住眼睛的同学猜。如果猜中,要说Yes,I’m?如果猜错,要说No,

  I’m?猜对得一分。

  (2)表演A部分对话,教师应指导学生注意语音,语调,特别是I’m的发音,应为/aim/不能读成/em/.

  (3)玩Let’splay中的游戏“击鼓传花”。

  新课展示二:

  教师播放Let’ssing两遍,学生边听边跟唱,让能力强的学生唱一遍,教师适当进行奖励或表扬。

  教师领唱,学生跟唱,全体同学一起唱。分小组唱,对于唱得好的小组进行表扬。

  趣味操练二:

  (1)请学生在限定时间内找出在小村庄里出现的字母,对于找得又快又好的的学生要加以奖励,有能力的学生让他们读出这些字母。

  三、教学步骤

  (2)请几个学生戴Sarah,WuYifan等人物的头饰,两人一组打招呼问候:

  (3)让学生之间互相打招呼问候(用自己的英文名字或中文名字)。

  (4)将学生分组进行自我介绍。

  2、新课展示(Presentation)

  (1)给学生出示文具实物,教新单词pencil,ruler,crayon,eraser.教师边教边作示范。如pencil一词,教师可通过实物或图片介绍新词,带读并示范,让学生在Ihaveapencil.的指令下出示铅笔。可用同样的方法教本课时的其他文具。(教学中,教师要特别注意crayon及eraser两个词的发音。对于多音节词,教师可采取“先部分,后整体”,分音节的方法进行教学。例如教eraser一词,教师先示范整个单词的读音,然后分音节请学生跟读e-ra-ser,最后再让学生跟读整个词,此时教师要注意学生把重音放在第二个音节/rei/上。)

  (2)让学生听录音,跟读Let’slearn部分的词汇,并要求学生用手指着词汇来认读,力求做到“眼到、手到、口到、心到”。

  3、趣味操练(Practice)

  (1)游戏活动

  教师可以结合班里孩子们的程度适当为他们介绍相关圣诞节的知识,以帮助他们了解西方文化:人们在圣诞节要用彩灯(Christas lights)装扮房子,在客厅里装扮起圣诞树(Christas tree),树顶上总是放一颗星星(a star),家人都互相送礼物(Christas gifts).他们把礼物包装起来,挂在圣诞树上或凡在树下,全家人在圣诞节这天(n Christas Da)早上拆开礼物。孩子们则在床头挂一只丝袜(scing),他们相信圣诞老人(Father Christas)会从烟囱进来给他们送来礼物。其实礼物都是家里的长辈悄悄放进去的。另外在这一天,人们还要一起吃圣诞大餐呢。
