今天是十月一日国庆佳节，各民族的人们都在庆祝伟大母亲的生日，早上八点我打开电视，看看有什么新鲜事，忽然，我看到一个新闻：“一个老爷爷，用576个小辣椒和195个玉米粒拼成了一面*，格外鲜艳、美丽。”我很好奇，也跟着一起做。
我先给小辣椒们洗了一个澡，把它们铺地上，再剥下195个玉米粒，接着就开始做了，我把红辣椒铺在地上，一个一个地摆好，摆成了一个长方形，我左看右看，就是不对劲，站起来，围着“**”转了一个圈，我才发现，原来是我的思路不对，没有放那五颗星的地方了，我把他们都拆了，把“五颗星”摆好，然后摆了红旗的轮廓，最后把里面填满，“好了，大功告成!”我兴奋地说到。
看着摆好的“**”，我心里美滋滋的。

1949年10月2日，中央人民*通过《关于中华人民共和国国庆日的决议》，规定每年10月1日为国庆日，并以这一天作为宣告中华人民共和国成立的.日子。
从1950年起，每年的10月1日成为了全国各族人民隆重欢庆的节日。
