Man’s life is a process of growing up, actually I’m standing here is a growth. If a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up along with these choices. Once I hope I can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future holds for (= what will happen to) me.
When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all starts here. Following I will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfect job.
Once my teacher said :" you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft." I will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process I will combine learning with doing. If I can achieve this "future", I think that I really grow up. And I dee*** believe kindred, good-fellowship and love will perfection and happy in the future.
How to say future? Maybe it’s a nice wish. Lets make up our minds, stick to it and surely well enjoy our life.
Good afternoon everybody! Its my honor to speak here and I am very glad to share my topic with all of you. Today Id like to talk about "my dream". I do not just have one dream, in fact, I have three. They are: a healthy life, a happy family and to travel my great country.
I have always admired the long healthy life my grandparents have. They are older than 80 years of age and they are still alive and kicking! How do they do that!? My grandparents plant vegetables and grow rice themselves; even in their old age they still make food for themselves! I guess that is why they can remain healthy. More importantly they remain humble and never ask for too much from life. Perhaps that makes them common, but they live a happy life. My grandmother once told me this:" I do not want to live long, only long enough for some grand children to be running around in my house". I want to live a long, healthy and happy life just as they have.
Since my graduation from primary school, until now, every time on my birthday I make the same wish. I wish my parents will not fight anymore. I am not complaining that they gave me a bad childhood, they just fight so much! I am unhappy but that does not mean they do not love me. They do! They love me with all their heart. I love my parents also; I want them to live a happy life as well.
I want to travel this great country of ours. I want to see the beauty of our country. I want to see the miracles that made this country great! I want to go from the east to west, from the north all the way down to the south! I have a dream, that one day I can travel and see my country with my family and friends! If that is not possible, seeing my country on my own is good enough also.
If I can fulfill all three of my dreams in life, then God can take me away. I would be happy, and l would have lived a full and prosperous life.

My definition of success
Today I am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. What is success? It is what everyone is longing times success would be rather simple. Winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now I amstanding here giving my speech is somehow also success.
However, as a person’s whole life is concerned, success becomes very complicated. Is fortune success? Is fame success? Is high social status success? No, I don’t think so. I believe success is the realization of people’s hopes and days, in the modern society there are many peoplewho are regarded as the successful. And the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. So most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. But the problem is wether it is real success.
We all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. If we keep chasing them, where is the end? What will satisfy us at last? Therefore, we can see, to get the real Success we must need something inside, which is the realization of people’ hopes and ideals.
Different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. But I am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. These are the best treasures. So now I am very proud that I have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. It is my success, cause I raise up to challenge my hope.
What is success? Everyone has his own interpretation as I do. But I am sure every success leads to an ever-brighter future. So ladies and gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of us, can make a successful life! Wish you all good success!
I enter tile university after years of hard study and preparation. But life in the university is not as satisfactory as what I had expected. I become lazy and don't want to study.I become silcent. I become puzzled. I don't know what I can do in the future. Then I become unhappy.
Four years in the university is only a short period when compared my whole lifetime. Now it has passed a half. In this year, many people ,such as my parents,my friends, ask me what I want to do and tell me to map out a plan for my life. I don't want to follow their suggestion, and I want to go my style. So I think carefully. I have been a young volunteer(志愿者) for five years.It's very happy and significant.
Then I have a dream.I want to join the University Student Volunteers Go West Programe. I think I can be a teacher in the west.I want to try my best to help them and help me. This is the general secretary of Xi jinping ?s Chinese dream. But as a contemporary college students, what is our Chinese dream? Can we dare to dream?

Even now I can still see a very special picture in my mind now. I was taking part in the 800-meter race. To be honest, it was not hard at first. I felt energetic and confident. We were all pushing on to the finishing line. One minute, two minutes,… Terrible!~ One of the athletes was half the lap ahead of me. So tired and worried I was that my feet could not move any further. “Give up?” A low voice came from the bottom of my heart. At the same time I could feel something shining. My friends and even my Mom and Dad were watching and shouting so loud, “Come on! Never give up!” Strangely, my body kept going. Anyhow I would finish the competition. And I made it.
What about you? When meeting any difficulty, you can not even see any hope at that moment, will you give up? No, let’s say NO to GIVE UP.

When I mention the word “maths” some adjectives will come to mind, boring, difficult and complicated. But I think maths is very interesting. It is used almost everywhere in our life and also related to art and music.
We all know one geometrical concept, the golden section. It's very important in painting, sculpture and architecture, such as the Parthenon in Athens and the Venus de Milo. In nature a little pentagonal flower has its golden section. It looks beautiful.
What about its connection with music? Lets take a look at a straight and tight string. Pluck it, and then halve its length, then pluck it again. The sound we hear is the same note but a higher frequency. The Greek mathematician Pythagoras discovered this law and it developed into the musical scale we know today.
Another example is from the famous composer, Bach. When we listen to his music in “Well-Tempered Clavier”， we find the notes are always getting higher .But amazingly, in the end, it comes back to the initial height. Why is it? That's why Bach was great! It's a very interesting maths problem. We call it a paradox.
These days we learn maths at school. The only purpose is to get a high mark. But I personally think that those with curious and creative minds will open the door to the world of maths. Just as Galileo said, “Mathematics is the alphabet with which God has written the universe”。 Maths, in my eyes, is a fascinating subject that needs our passion and imagination. Hi everyone. My topic today is Maths in my Eyes.
When I mention the word “maths” some adjectives will come to mind, boring, difficult and complicated. But I think maths is very interesting. It is used almost everywhere in our life and also related to art and music.
We all know one geometrical concept, the golden section. It's very important in painting, sculpture and architecture, such as the Parthenon in Athens and the Venus de Milo. In nature a little pentagonal flower has its golden section. It looks beautiful.
What about its connection with music? Lets take a look at a straight and tight string. Pluck it, and then halve its length, then pluck it again. The sound we hear is the same note but a higher frequency. The Greek mathematician Pythagoras discovered this law and it developed into the musical scale we know today.
Another example is from the famous composer, Bach. When we listen to his music in “Well-Tempered Clavier”，we find the notes are always getting higher .But amazingly, in the end, it comes back to the initial height. Why is it? That's why Bach was great! It's a very interesting maths problem. We call it a paradox.
These days we learn maths at school. The only purpose is to get a high mark. But I personally think that those with curious and creative minds will open the door to the world of maths. Just as Galileo said, “Mathematics is the alphabet with which God has written the universe”。 Maths, in my eyes, is a fascinating subject that needs our passion and imagination. Good morning! As you know and see, it is a sunny bump harvest season. In the city, in our school campus, everywhere is surrounded with roses which we together planted 4 years ago. Today may these roses and our friendship as well be together and comfort our excited hearts!
It was four years ago that everyone of us came from every part of China and formed a new collective. As we are young, it’s very easy for us to communicate. It's a great honor for me to stand here to deliver a speech to you. Then today I want to talk something about dreams and reality.
As the famous Russian litterateur Lev Tolstoy said, “Ideal is the beaconWithout ideal, there is no secure direction; without a direction, there is no life.” So there’s no doubt that everyone needs his or her own ideal. Have you ever thought that what is practical and sensible will connect with our most treasured dreams? Maybe, to somebody, reality has little relation to ideal. To others nothing can be done without the sense of reality. So make our dreams a part of our reality. And make our reality a part of our dreams. There is no reason why our dreams must oppose our reality. Improve our dreams and our reality by bringing them together.
As a university student, establishing a dream is one of the most important things we have to do .But everyone must see the reality clearly at first. Your family condition, your personal ability, your social intercourse ,your subject and the job you want to do, these things show you the reality and lead you to establish a dream.
Further more, difficult or otherwise, we should put the power of reality into our dreams. Last but not least remember to work hard at the task of chasing 追逐our dreams. Do believe that we can achieve our ideal step by step by the passage of time!

大家好。期中考试刚刚过去，经过这一段时间的学*，相信同学们已经查漏补缺，认识到了自己的不足。转眼间，还剩下一个多月的学*时间，初一生活就将向我们挥手告别。我们要利用这一个多月的时间，把初一画上一个完美的句号，为今后更加繁重的学*任务打下坚实的基础。
对于绝大多数同学来说，英语始终是心头大患。我与大家经历相同，从4年级便被扣上了这顶帽子，每一次考试，英语总是给我拖后腿，但在一次次摸索中，我也在不断进步，总结了一些经验。正所谓“方向不对，努力白费”，正确的学*方法会使我们的学*效率大大提高，从而达到事半功倍的目的。下面是我总结的一些学*英语的经验，希望可以供同学们参考。
第一，做好课堂笔记。顾名思义，课堂笔记便是利用课堂时间将老师所讲的重点、难点、疑点记下，千万不可以“手懒”，对于知识零碎的英语来说更是如此，好记性不如烂笔头。然后是回顾笔记，回顾笔记才是做笔记的重点，建议大家，周末时专门抽出时间回顾一下当周所做的笔记，这样能有效地缓解紧张的心理，可以让你在下一周的学*中得心应手。举个我自己的例子吧，记得有一次英语抽测，我抱着侥幸的心理，没有做好复*工作，所以考试前就开始临时抱佛脚，结果到了最后，根本没有时间复*完，考试时慌慌张张，考得一塌糊涂。所以说，做好笔记对于学生来说十分重要。
第二，整理回顾错题，对于很多同学来说，都能做到整理错题，但重点是我们不仅仅要整理，更要回顾与反思。所谓“好马不吃回头草”对我们学生万万不可适用，要想成功挤过中考这座独木桥，就必须回顾自己的错题，也防止再出现类似的失误。再举个例子吧，我开始和很多同学一样只是纠一下错，之后就不管了，但是有一次考试，我真记得做过某一题，就是忘了怎么做，结果不仅没做出题，心情也糟糕透顶，考试结果可想而知惨不忍睹，后来我学着经常回顾错题本，慢慢地积累，厚积薄发，考试也不再出现类似的失误。
第三，要利用零碎的时间。英语是一门需要长期积累的'科目，知识点很多，一定要好好利用互联网、学*机和其他移动方便的设备，更不用说书籍和杂志这样的传统学*资源！你完全可以在课间、排队、午休等时间记几个单词，要养成“天天英语”的*惯，每天按老师的要求作一篇完形阅读，坚持天天听英语。其实学英语的过程更像是一朵云的形成，是水汽的一点点积累；而不像砌一面墙那样，把砖堆上去就好。
