说起我最爱的主食，必定是菜饭了。家里只有奶奶和妈妈会做，而且她们做出来的味道还不一样。
奶奶炒的是油菜饭。她先在热锅里加一勺猪油，待油化开之后，将青菜切丁下锅，然后反复翻炒。等到炒出菜香时，再将煮熟的白米饭倒下去，继续不停翻炒，直至颜色均匀，再加入适量调味品。往往这个时候，就是我最享受的时刻，油菜的清香与调料的醇香融合在一起，钻入鼻子里，简直令人垂涎三尺。
奶奶做好菜饭，最后还会浇上一勺海鲜炖肉汁，再淋上一层热油。“滋——”的一声，这油与菜饭碰撞的时刻，宛如一首美妙的音乐，虽然比较短暂，却足以让我的耳膜过过瘾了。等菜饭一上桌，我的眼睛就开始发光了。白中带绿的鲜艳色彩，被热油一浇，瞬间得到了升华，无比光鲜亮丽。海鲜肉汁与油菜的香味相互融合，油菜的清香被完全激发了出来，热油的腻味被完全覆盖了。
妈妈做的是包菜饭，与奶奶的完全不同。奶奶的油菜饭是正宗的*味，而妈妈做的则带有一点东南亚风情。
妈妈做完包菜饭，会往里加入芝士乳酪酱配咖喱，或奶油蘑菇炖酱配咖喱，而且都会加一点胡椒粉和盐，增加点咸味。

磨好后，妈妈把芝麻浆糊倒进锅里，开大火，用锅铲搅拌。几分钟后，芝麻糊在锅里不停地冒泡。泡眼由小变大，由少变多。妈妈放了两大勺白糖，继续搅拌。
十几分钟后，泡泡咕嘟咕嘟地响，妈妈把黑乎乎芝麻糊盛了上来。
这时九个月大的弟弟闻到了香味，他从饭厅几下爬到了厨房，口水流出来了。弟弟抬着头眼睛直勾勾地看着芝麻糊，呵呵地叫着。我盛了半碗芝麻糊给弟弟吃，几分钟弟弟吃完了。
我盛了一碗芝麻糊吃，芝麻糊口感细腻，满口都是清甜的芝麻香，吞进肚子里感觉很温热。
我们吃完芝麻糊后，就听妈妈讲芝麻糊的故事。据说，慈禧太后十分注重养生，一日她食欲不振，便命厨子们弄点新鲜的玩意。药膳大师田中宝，制作了由芝麻、大豆、大米做成的瘦身养颜粥，深得慈禧太后的喜爱。田中宝也因此被提拔为御厨房管事。
妈妈停了一下，又说：＂妈妈有一天头晕，外婆就煮了芝麻糊给妈妈吃，妈妈吃了热腾腾的、浓浓香味的芝麻糊后，就不头晕了，精神了很多。从此外婆经常煮芝麻糊吃，大家也很喜欢吃。＂
于是芝麻糊成了我的最爱。
有人喜爱吃绿绿的青瓜，有人喜欢吃鲜红的西红柿，有人爱吃细长的豆角而我却喜欢上那个普通得不能再普通的土豆。
土豆的形状就像黄山奇石一般，形状各异。有些事像圆润的鹅卵石，有些像嶙峋的石头，有些长得我也形容不上来。土豆不像西红柿那样穿着鲜艳的外衣，它的外衣是暗黄带点灰，有时衣服上还会粘上一些小斑点，其实这样的衣服确实不太好看，而且还有点土。如果是刚挖上来的土豆，衣服还带着黑黑的泥土呢，像一团团被人嫌弃的垃圾。可是我就是喜欢它！
土豆又叫马铃薯，还有的叫它荷兰薯、薯仔等。我们吃土豆并不是吃它的果实，而是吃它的茎。它还是全球第四大重要的粮食作物，仅次于小麦，稻谷和玉米。土豆还能在恶劣的环境下生长，沙漠干涸的土地，几乎没有养分的土地，它也可以生长，它还拯救了许多非洲沙漠人的生命。

爆米花是我和小伙伴们小时候最爱吃的小吃之一，它吃起来香脆脆的，香气扑鼻。那个时候是我们最爱吃的食物。

眼看就要熟了，小伙伴们紧张的捂起了耳朵。“轰”随着一声响，一阵阵香味儿扑鼻而来，我们大呼小叫的说：“爷爷，爷爷，多放一点糖，多放一点糖。”拿到爆米花时就在附*的桃树下吃起爆米花，味道可美味了，于是我们约定好明天后天不管是风吹雨晒还是倾盆大雨，还是狂风怒号，都在这里集合！“好！”我们一致的答应了……

都说扬州炒饭是扬州最出名的，其实你们不知道，还有一道菜也超极好吃——长鱼面。
长鱼面，很多人一听名字就知道是碗面，但知道长鱼是什么的就很少了。长鱼其实就是黄鳝，“长鱼”是宝应话翻译过来的。听我爸爸说，要想做一碗地道的长鱼面，是很不容易的。一大清早，就要去市场买最新鲜的长鱼。接下来把长鱼肚子剖开，取出鱼骨煲汤，长鱼面是分清汤和油炸的，油炸的话就要把鱼骨炸一下再煮汤。然后就是煮长鱼了，这不需要过多的方式烹饪，保持原汁原味就好，但就是这样的原汁原味可难倒了许多人，不是太老了，就是太淡了，所以老街上做的好吃的也就那么两家。
在店里点一碗长鱼面。白白的浓汤上泛着金黄的油珠，面宽宽的，韧韧的，超有劲道。长鱼皮反射着灯光，显得格外有食欲。“面来了。”一大碗汤面，还有一碗鱼骨汤和一碗长鱼。
吃长鱼面也是有讲究的。首先要先喝一口鲜汤，那味道不咸不淡，似乎还有点鱼的甜味，总之“鲜”。然后把鱼骨汤、长鱼一起倒入汤面中，撒入一小把葱花，搅拌。吃一口，香气溢满口腔，回味无穷，“好汤！”“好汤！”一口一口细嚼慢咽，仔细品尝，仿佛这一刻是人生中最幸福的事。
