正因为大熊猫的这种皮毛颜色，它才得以在世界上生存了800万年之久。早在800万年之前，人类还没有诞生的时候，大熊猫已经成为占据一方的食肉动物。不过经过时代的变迁，大熊猫改变了他们的生活*性，改为吃竹子了。但它们的牙齿和消化道仍保持原样，仍然划分为食肉目，发怒时危险性堪比其它熊种。经过800万年的沧桑，大熊猫已经适应现在的环境，外表让它们隐蔽在密林的树上和积雪的地面而不易被敌人发现，大熊猫相对锋利的爪和发达有力的前后肢能让他们快速爬上高大的乔木，即便这样，它们仍是世界上的濒危物种，被人们立为“世界生物多样性保护的旗舰物种”。
大熊猫还拥有两个特性。第一，大熊猫的皮肤很厚，最厚处可达10毫米，皮肤的*均厚度均为5毫米，并且色白而富有弹性和韧性。另一个特性就是他们的视觉极不发达。大熊猫长期生活于光线暗、障碍物多的地方，所以目光变得十分短浅。不过它的瞳孔是像猫一样纵裂的，所以当夜幕降临的傍晚，他们也仍能活动。
圆滚滚肉萌萌的大熊猫，现在正在我国的'土地上繁衍后代，幸福成长。我国向一些特别友好的国家赠送大熊猫作为礼物，它好比一位和*大使，传递着无限的情谊和希望，使全世界人民友谊越来越深。
大熊猫如此可爱而又沧桑，又怎么能不被称为“中国国宝“呢？
动物园里有只可爱的大熊猫——可可，可爱极了。他有着黑溜溜的大眼睛，毛茸茸的黑白衣服，干干净净，挺招人喜欢的。
可是，有一天，它听到邻居孔雀说：“我们孔雀多美呀，穿着五彩裙子。”邻居小鸟也在说：“我们也很美呀，披着五彩披肩。”可可看看自己，胖胖的身上穿一件又宽又大，除了黑就是白，除了白就是黑的大褂子，多没意思呀。
可可也是位小姐呀，也挺爱美的，它就开始不吃饭了。干吗？减肥呗，它把肚子饿得瘪瘪的。嘿，苗条了许多，然后它就趁饲养员阿姨不注意，偷偷地溜出了动物园。
哪里有颜色，可可就去哪里。啊哈！这里有一家画廊，画家正歪着头睡大觉呢，调色盘里有那么多的颜色，可可用画笔在身上画呀画呀，先画些红颜色，再来些绿颜色，对了，还要黄颜色、蓝颜色——哇！多美呀！看到画家还没睡醒，可可满意地笑了，趁着天黑，可可又溜回了动物园。它想：10月天，大家见了我，一定夸我漂亮。可是它怎么也没想到，它的出现谁也没有注意，大家都在寻找穿黑白衣服的大熊猫可可，动物园的阿姨见人就问：“看到大熊猫了吗？它长得胖胖的，穿一件黑白大褂。”小朋友们快要哭了。“谁见过可可，他的眼睛特别亮，乌溜溜的，谁见过？”可可看到这么多的人在为它着急，赶快大声地喊：“我就是可可——”“你？”大家回过头来奇怪地打量着它。动物园阿姨说：“别开玩笑了，可可比你胖，它穿着黑白衣服，从不穿花衣服的。”这下可可更着急：“我就是，我就是的呀！”小朋友仔细看了看，说：“可不是，是的！它是可可，我看到它的眼睛特别亮。”饲养员阿姨这下也认出它了，赶紧带它去洗了个澡。
当可可重新出现在竹林假山上的时候，人们都拍起了手来，叫着跳着：“大熊猫可可又回来了！大熊猫可可又回来了！“可可听了可高兴啦，它想：只要大家都喜欢我，穿什么颜色的衣服又有什么关系呢？”
暑假里的一天，姨妈带着我和弟弟、妹妹去红山动物园看望一位稀有的客人――大熊猫。
一进动物园的大门我们就迫不及待地跑到大熊猫居住的熊猫馆。在那里我们看到有两只大熊猫正在香甜的睡梦中呢！在一个干涸的沟道里，一只熊猫四脚朝天的睡着，另一只则枕在大熊猫的肚皮上呼呼大睡着。一会只见则身的那只熊猫翻了个身后又舒舒服服的接着睡了，不一会大熊猫居然把手放进了嘴里巴叽吃了起来，那样子可真是好玩极了。瞧！大熊猫那黑黑的耳朵一动一动的，肚子也象耳朵那样有节奏地鼓动着，嘴巴一个劲地咂巴着自己的手。我和妹妹一个劲地拍手鼓掌想唤醒大熊猫们，可无济于事大熊猫们依旧呼呼酣睡。这时姨妈对我们说：“熊猫很喜欢吃冷箭竹、大箭竹、墨竹、水竹等，大熊猫们的食量很大，每天要吃15―20公斤的嫩竹。”听到这里我突然想起我在家里看过的资料上面说：“熊猫自卫能力很弱，听觉、视觉都很迟钝，嗅觉稍为好一些，从不主动其大熊猫动物，不怕生人。”怪不得来看望大熊猫的人那么多，可大熊猫俩却无动于衷，原来跟大熊猫的性格有关系呀！你闹你的，我睡我的，等我睡醒后再来欢迎你们吧！我想这可能就是憨态可掬的大熊猫的一惯作风吧。
“快看，那里有只大熊猫在洗澡呢。”我一听到弟弟的叫声，急急忙忙地挤进边上的人群，“哈哈哈”我笑了起来，原来熊猫正坐在水里两只手随意地在身上抹了几下后，又低下头自顾自地玩起水来，看着熊猫旁若无人、憨态可掬的样子我又情不自禁地笑出了声。这只熊猫自上毛色黑白分明，在圆圆的白色大头上衬着八字字形的黑眼圈，头上耸立着一对黑耳朵，四肢差不多长短。简真太可爱了，我真想走过去抱抱大熊猫或者去好好地抚摸大熊猫，但我只能远远地看着大熊猫，心里充满了对大熊猫的喜爱。过了好一会儿我们才依依不舍地离开了熊猫馆。
我太喜欢这些可爱的稀有客人了！
