在五一小长假里，我亲眼目睹我的蚕宝宝蜕皮的过程：一开始蚕宝宝整天不吃一口桑叶，头仰着天，我十分担心以为蚕宝宝生病了，然而在傍晚的时候我发现那条像“雕像”一样静止了一天多的蚕宝宝似乎在缓缓地扭动着身体。我想这是不是要蜕皮前的前兆?果然我首先看到蚕左右扭动身子，好像身上起火，利用滚动扑灭火的.人，然后就看到蚕的两边的皮肤微微有些鼓起来，蚕继续滚动着。就这样大约又过了十分钟，一些皮在蚕的扭动下滑落到身体的第一个节，蚕一边扭动，一边向前爬。向前爬动的过程中，一个半透明的嘴巴被我打下来了。又过了十分钟左右，蚕终于爬出了自己的旧皮，最后旧皮缩成了一团，这个过程大约用了一个小时左右。大约过了20分钟蚕宝宝终于开始吃桑叶了，我原以为蚕宝宝是先掉嘴巴再掉皮，原来这是同时进行的。
