How to protect the environment has become one of the biggest problems in the world .
It’s our duty to protect our environment . No matter where we live , we should do something to keep our neighborhood clean and tidy . We can collect waste paper or other waste things for recycling. We should plant more trees and we should prevent those factories from pouring waste water into rivers, lakes and fields. We shouldn’t leave rubbish everywhere and spit in public places . We mustn’t pick the flowers or step on the grass in public. If everyone tries his best to protect the environment , the world will become much more beautiful and our life will be better and better .
We live in the world every day. We eat food, drink water, wear clothes,watch TV, use computers and so on. We are producing waste every moment.
Generally speaking, there are four sorts of waste. They are material waste,organic waste, inorganic waste and poisonous & harmful waste. Now, we aregoing to talk about each sort of waste one by one.
Material waste: it means the waste of substance or things from whichsomething else can be made. For example, people throw away the used metalproducts and buy a new one, so the old metal waste accumulates. At last, theybecome waste. Here, Id like to share my own experience abroad with you. Several years ago, I was very lucky to he an opportunity to live in the Australia about half a month. 第一章沙尘暴
我早早地起来床，在公路运动，望着公路旁的行道树，笑了。是行道树每天为这乌烟瘴气的城市制造那么点新鲜空气，我站在行道树旁贪婪地呼吸着……跑着跑着，离开了行道树。
好大的风，灰色的，其中夹杂着沙子，刺鼻刺眼，路上的行人相视惨然，面有土色，掩面闭眼，疾走不语，不得不拿着雨伞。这阵风好强，使我睁不开眼睛，呼吸困难，我艰难的走着。天上乌云滚滚，昏天暗日，让人想起了“血色苍穹”四个字，以为天谴，惶惶不可终日。一个好心人给我递上了一个口罩，我飞奔回家。打开电视一看，原来是沙尘暴，为什么会有沙尘暴呢？电视上得主持人侃侃而谈：“沙尘暴的形成与人类破坏坏境精密相连，人们这几年不断的砍伐和烧毁很多树木，纵使大风能带走不牢固的沙子，吹向绿化少的城市，形成今天的沙尘暴。”话刚落下，我便陷入了沉思：地球母亲现在伤痕累累，地震、海啸、龙卷风等，人们认为是天灾，其实这一切的一切都是人类的行为，是人类自食恶果的报应。
我感觉绿色正在呼唤着我，似乎是在向我呼救……
第二章寻找绿色
我离开了这座城市，这座我生活了20年的城市。心中虽有一丝不舍，但是为了绿色的.坏境，为了地球母亲，想到这里，我毅然地选择了离开。
我骑着我的宝贝自行车带着一千万支票离开了。我一边哼着歌一边欣赏着风景，不知不觉已经来到了一个森林，心情越发喜悦。空气清新，小溪清澈，让人忘了一路疲惫，想甜甜入睡。睡醒了，饿了，不用吃管家天天精心准备的牛排，不用吃龙虾鲍鱼，只要爬上树摘下新鲜的果子，就可以美美的饱餐一顿了
动物更是享受这种无忧无虑的生活。鸟儿在树枝上婉转地歌唱；猴子在桃子树上细细品味着蜜桃；狮子懒洋洋地在地面上打滚……两个字：快话！可是，他们却不知道危险在一步步靠*——人为的坏境破坏。
每天都在享受的我也时时不忘记工作，忘了跟你们说，实际上我是来呼吁人们要保护环境的。我的方法就是拍一些坏境的好处，诸如动物们享受的过程，绿色而美丽的植物，用这些图片来唤醒人类的良知。
第三章绿色美好生活
我的任务完成了，打了通电话给我的管家，叫他把我的专用直升机开到这来。管家效率果然高，不到10分钟，直升机就来了。我让飞行员直接往国际机场飞，用我的飞机金卡开了通行证，去向联合国秘书长潘基文提交照片。像我这样身价过百亿的公子哥要见联合国秘书易如反掌。我跟潘基文说：“现在世界的污染真的太严重了，我找了很久才发现照片上的地方。看啊，这些动物是多么快活啊，你忍心让它们失去这乐园吗？”潘基文问：“那你有什么方法吗？”我说：“科技是不能停止的，但污染也不可以出现在世界上，那么答案就显而易见了，就是让科技变得没也有污染，当然这是很难的事情，交给我吧！”“好！没问题，我相信你。”我一刻都不想浪费，马上召集了潘基文给我提供世界一流的科学家。经过了3年，我们不懈的努力终于有了成果。走在大街上，一部车从面前闪过，不要以为它会排放令人讨厌的尾气，它喷出了玫瑰般的香气，使工作烦杂的人都放松了心情，提高了效率。看到一座工厂，它已经没有吵杂的声音和黑乎乎的污气，因为潘基文已经下达命令，全部都装上消音设备。而污气的消失，就是我的功劳了，我让工厂实现了全电脑控制化的机械。希望人民的生活更加环保绿色，让污气完全消失在世界让，让地球母亲更加美丽漂亮。
目前，随着社会经济的发展，越来越多的有机污染物被排入水源水体，城市供水水质日趋下降。与此同时，生产、生活对水质的要求却日益提高。因此，城市发展与供水水质之间的矛盾日渐尖锐，提高水质、保障城市供水可持续发展已成为现代城市亟待解决的问题。
对于保护环境，需要做的事情实在太多了。许多事情当然必须由国家和**来做，比如控制二氧化碳的排放量、禁止使用氟利昂等等。但是，有些事情却与我们每一个人有关。我们如何做到从我做起，保护环境呢？下面几条是我们每个人应该做到的：
首先，必须遵守有关禁止乱扔各种废弃物的规定，把废弃物扔到指定的地点或者容器内，特别是不要乱扔废电池，因为一节废电池中所含的重金属，如果流到清洁的水中，它造成的污染是非常厉害的。
其次，在学*中，要尽量节省文具用品，杜绝浪费，比如，铅笔是用木材制造的，浪费了铅笔就等于毁灭了森林。
应该尽量避免使用一次性饮料杯、泡沫饭盒、塑料袋和一次性筷子，用陶瓷杯、纸饭盒、布袋和普通竹筷子来替代，这样就可以大大减少垃圾的产生。要爱护花草树木，不破坏城市绿化，并且积极参加绿化植树活动。离开房间时，关上电灯并且拔掉电视机、音响、计算机等的电器插头。尽可能用节能灯代替普通灯泡，尽管它的价格相对贵一些，但它的耗电量只及普通灯泡的一小部分。用密闭容器代替塑料包装物来储藏食物。用密闭容器代替塑料包装物来储藏食物。购买饮料尽可能选择可回收再利用的罐装饮料。请携带自己的购物袋去购物，以避免使用不可回收利用、不可分解的塑料袋。开车时减速行驶，这样耗油量小，还可降低二氧化碳的排放量。尽量以步代车或骑自行车。

广州是我的家乡，*几年来，它发生了翻天覆地的变化——街区绿了，楼房美了，珠江清了，白云山秀了，天蓝了……
广州的交通，已经今非昔比了，摩托车如过江之鲫，公交车像乌龟爬，广州大桥一到上下班高峰期就塞车等，已成为历史。市**在改善这方面花费了巨大的资金，使珠江**相继崛起了一座座现代化的大桥：**大桥、江湾大桥、白鹤洞大桥、丫鬟纱大桥，为了缓解过江压力起了重要的作用。
市**还修建了内环路。内环路建成后，相当于在空中提供双向6车道的快速通道，除了夜间货车分流，内环路还为地面的公交车创造了空间，一些主干道的公交车都有了不同程度的提速。这样，广州市中心车辆行使速度由4年前每小时*均16公里提高到30公里以上。所谓“路通财通”，交通便捷了，市民的收入也相应有了提高。据统计，1997年广州市居民家庭年人均实际收入10496元，支出8768元，20xx年人均实际收入增长至14696元，支出11467元，两项指标均居全国十大城市之首。与此同时，广州居民的收入构成走向多元化，工资性收入虽然惹事仍是居民收入的主要来源，但所占比例开始稳步下降，由70。6%降至69。6%，5年间少了一个百分点；而且增长幅度远低于非工资性收入，20xx年人均非工资性收入比上年增长了12。7%，比工资性收入的幅度高出10。4个百分点。
