I enter tile university after years of hard study and preparation(准备). But life in the university is not as satisfactory(满意) as what I had expected. I become lazy and don't want to study.I become silcent. I become puzzled. I don't know what I can do in the future. Then I become unhappy.
Four years in the university is only a short period when compared my whole lifetime. Now it has passed a half. In this year, many people ,such as my parents,my friends, ask me what I want to do and tell me to map out a plan for my life. I don't want to follow their suggestion, and I want to go my style. So I think carefully. I have been a young volunteer(志愿者) for five years.It's very happy and significant. Then I have a dream.I want to join the University Student Volunteers Go West Programe. But in retrospect, the destruction of my self was so repetitive that I started to see a pattern. The self changed, got affected, broken, destroyed, but another one would evolve -- sometimes stronger, sometimes hateful, sometimes not wanting to be there at all.The self was not constant. But nature had its wicked way, and brown babies were born. But from about the age of five, I was aware that I didnt fit. Because the self likes to fit, to see itself replicated, to belong. That confirms its existence and its importance. And it is important.

I asked my mother: “Where is the lush, tall grass?” As puzzled as me, she said nothing. I was shocked to see the differences between the grassland in my dream and what was in front of me.
On the way home, I thought a lot and tried to find answers.
Now I am old enough to bring awareness to other people and share my dream for the grasslands. Overgrazing and extensive farming have ruined the grassland and so taken away the charm of our homeland. But I am confident that one day the grasslands will recover and its true wealth and beauty will be realized as long as everybody gives his contribution to restore our homeland.

To others nothing can be done without the sense of reality. So make our dreams a part of our reality. And make our reality a part of our dreams. As a university student, establishing a dream is one of the most important things we have to do .But everyone must see the reality clearly at first. Your family condition, your personal ability, your social intercourse (交往、交流), your subject and the job you want to do, these things show you the reality and lead you to establish a dream.
Further more, difficult or otherwise, we should put the power of reality into our dreams. Last but not least remember to work hard at the task of chasing 追逐our dreams. Do believe that we can achieve our ideal step by step by the passage of time!

The title of my speech is “What college education means to me”.Now reflecting on the past two and half years of my college experience, I come to realize how much it has shaped me.
For me, college education is a marvelous ship-builder who designed me from kneel plates up.
With great vision, college education has equipped me, first with a powerful propeller----the sophisticated knowledge in certain field and wide exposure to other disciplines. By dedicating myself to the engineering courses in the day and immersing myself in the rich banquet of the world literature at night, I’ve amassed the driving force for the future and enriched my soul.
Besides, college education has also provided me with a precise compass----the sense of social responsibility. How can I best serve the interest of the public while achieving my self-fulfillment? My one year’s experience as a part-time English teacher has testified: to be valuable to society as well as to find my place, I have to possess some actual strength and the ability to function well in the most challenging situation. Amid the hectic schedule that balances club activities, sports, and academic courses, I feel the rhythm and beauty in the intensity of my high-pitched life, knowing that I ’m on the right way.

火热的夏天，尽管没有春天般婉约，没有秋天般淳朴，更没有冬天般华丽，但她有自己的风格，使夏天更加光彩照人。
跟随夏的脚步，伴着一声悠长的蝉鸣，太阳爬上了天空。一只只蝉，正端坐在不远处土坡上，在一棵树的枝头，翻着树叶上写的五线谱。是啊，蝉是夏天的歌手，在枝头为属于它们的夏天引吭高歌。树叶是知了们最爱唱的歌谱，树枝是知了们天然的演奏台。听，那北边枝头上的蝉又开始唱歌了——“吱，吱——吱，吱——”，紧接着，南边的知了也跟着唱起来。在夏天的舞台上，知了们演绎了一首动人的大合唱。

1、准备充分（占20分）：演讲的准备分两个内容，一是演讲稿的准备，二是演讲的辅助媒体的准备。对于演讲稿的准备，我要求，每一位演讲的同学要提前一周把演讲稿交给老师，老师提出意见，学生经过修改，再提意见再修改，直到老师认可后，学生再进行正式演讲前的准备。演讲时如果为了提高演讲的生动性，需要用到辅助媒体，如课件、实物投影，需要的设备要和老师商量并提前两天作演练，以保证课堂演讲能有序进行，尽量避免意外或把意外降到最低，以免耽误演讲后的正常上课。
在评分中，我把演讲的准备纳入其中一项的打分，目的要让学生重视这次演讲。因为这样的机会不多，半个学期才轮到一次，不好好准备，积累经验，就浪费这一次珍贵的机会了。
2、内容充实（占20分）：这主要体现在演讲稿的写作上，要求演讲内容具体充实，有个性特点。
3、表述清晰（声音响亮）（占20分）：需要特别指出的是，在“演讲”和“评讲”两项分数中，都有一项是“表述清晰（声音响亮）”，在演讲部分还要求“生动”。我在课堂回答问题时有这样的体会，我们的学生由于缺少在众人面前锻炼的机会和经验，普遍讲话都比较小声。而演讲不同于*时的交谈，所以我在声音响亮方面作特别的要求，目的是培养学生有演讲的意识，说话要看场合，要照顾到所有的听众。锻炼学生大胆、大声、大方、“大气”地在众人面前发表自己的看法，这是对学生领导素质的有益培养。
4、态势语言使用恰当（占20分）：适当地使用表情、动作，能增强演讲的直观性、生动性，所以我要求学生使用态势语言要自然合适，不夸张造作。
5、脱稿表述（占10分）：演讲不同于朗诵，我要求学生既要写好讲稿，但又不能依赖讲稿。我有这样的发现，一旦学生带稿上台演讲，看了第一次就会看第二次，越看就越想看，不断地低头看稿，整个演讲就没了效果。不依赖讲稿会迫使学生在熟悉讲稿后，更多地关注表达和态势方面的表现，更有利于提高学生的演讲技能。

In this day and age, environmental degradation presents great danger to the public. People in my country, and other places, have to bear polluted water and haze day after day.
