升入初中，我遇到一位英语老师，她姓李，名兰英，同学们暗送绰号“拖堂李天王”，因为她总爱拖堂。
她的眼睛大而亮，生气的时候就会眯成一条缝，我们都不愿见到这条缝，因为每当看到这条缝的时候，就意味着我们又挨批了。她的嘴不大，话却很多，嘴唇厚厚的，我们都说是因为说话太多，被磨厚的。她笑的时候，总是把嘴歪向一边，看起来很好笑，不过保持的时间很短，转瞬即逝。
有一天，老师大概是道听途说到几句我们班同学说她的“好话”，作为班主任，面子挂不住，心中不爽，刚一上课就对我们大吼开“德育课”，说了将*半小时也没有停下来的意思，大家见形势不妙，都忍气吞声、一言不发，我却按捺不住了，就起身说了句：“老师，该上课了!”，这下我可惹了祸了，老师把她的怒火都烧在了我的身上。她用手撑着讲台，眯着眼睛，不住的数落我，直到第二节课的铃声响起，她才不得不结束了她无休止的责备。
但从这次起，老师对我要求特别严格，但凡有一点做得不到位的事情，老师就会把我叫到办公室里批评，对我做错的题和不会的题也会仔细讲解并直到我听明白为止。这对我英语成绩的提升无疑起了莫大的'作用。
至于老师总爱拖堂、总绷着脸、布置作业多，归根结底，还是为了能提高我们的成绩，虽然办法略有不妥，可也不能直接否定。
李老师，我希望您能改变教学方式，做一名亲切的、受同学们欢迎的好老师，希望我的梦想可以成真。
“叮铃铃……”随着上课铃的响起，我们左思右盼的英语课终于随着我们那颗焦急不安的心而到来了。同学们都在思索着，新来的英语老师到底长啥样？是严厉而呆板的，只要你稍有差错，便会招来暴风骤雨般的训斥，还是……啊？快看，随着同学们的一声尖叫，把我从沉思中拉了出来，那不是英语老师吗？
英语老师站在了班级门口，一步一步走上了讲台，开始自我介绍起来。“我姓吉，是你们的英语老师，以后就由我来教你们，你们可乖乖听话哦。”
趁着她说话期间，我偷偷观察起来她。她有一双令人望而生畏的眼睛，我们看着就有些害怕。她身高偏矮，体型偏胖，中色的皮肤显得格外精神，一口褐色的牙齿再加上一个很普通的妹妹头让人觉得很可爱。上课时她很严厉，生气时翻脸比翻书都要快呢！
我记得有一次，她来上课时，教室里吵嚷的像菜市场，她大喊一声：“安静！”可是不管用，声音变得更大了。于是，她走下了讲台，拿出自己的武功秘籍，“九阴白骨暴打爪”，在那些一直没完没了的说的同学的后背上，狠狠的打了一巴掌。教室里瞬间安静，静得连一根针掉在地上都能听得清清楚楚。英语老师满意的点点头，开始讲课。那一掌可给咱们害惨了，过了好久，他们都说：“英语老师下手这么狠吗？疼死我了。”
“春蚕到死丝方尽，蜡炬成灰泪始干。”我们的英语老师是春蚕、是蜡炬，她严厉的同时也在默默奉献着自己，她就是我心中最“美”的英语老师。
