中午，我拿了玉米粒去鸭舍喂小鸭子，小鸭子一看到我马上扑腾着翅膀，嘎嘎叫着向我涌来，好像一定要把食物抢到嘴才肯罢休。我赶紧把手里的玉米粒扔给它，可还是迟了，一不小心手被小鸭子啄到了，吓得哭了起来……爷爷笑着安慰我说：“没事的，小鸭子是太喜欢你了，它和你闹着玩呢！”爷爷还告诉我，小鸭子喜欢吃的食物有玉米、稻谷、小鱼和田螺，其中最喜欢吃的是蚯蚓和鱼虾。
天气睛好的时候，我捉来小鸭子放下水，只见小鸭子一下子从水里爬上岸来，就再也不肯下去，吓得直叫唤，直到爷爷把鸭妈妈赶到水里它才肯一起下水。小鸭子在水里比在陆地上更加灵活，一会儿浮在水面上，一会儿潜到水底捉小鱼小虾，游得可开心了！

龟丞相总喜欢在大龟缸里游泳。从远处看真像一座绿色的小塔在水上漂呢！等我悄悄地走*龟缸一看，才知道龟丞相的泳姿多么优美。龟丞相从小房子里伸出了笨重的小脑袋和细小的尾巴，从容地打量着四周，紧随其后地伸出了两只轻盈的小爪。它先把伸出的左爪向后一划，又把右爪向后一划，两只小脚时不时地溅起水花，有时游入水中，有时浮出水面，好像在跳水上芭蕾。在结束时好像故意把自己弄得狼狈不堪，偶尔是翻不过自己的小身板，偶尔还打翻龟缸，把大家弄得哭笑不得。爱面子的它自然经不起嘲笑，总是在努力势必要翻过身来。翻了好几次都未能翻过身，最后却是说时迟，那时快，扑通一声翻了回来。龟丞相一脸尴尬，悻悻地吐了几个小泡泡，便灰溜溜地逃走了。
龟丞相吃饭时也是特别神气，好似自己真的是一个贵族绅士一般，不吃龟食，也不吃蔬菜，而只吃肉。吃东西时，它先用前爪抓住肉，用力地撕扯，大家看它那么神气，总爱过去围观。而它在这时似乎有点羞怯，会放下手头的美食，把嘴张开、闭上，好像在说：走开，走开。说完便转过头不理人了，津津有味地吃它的山珍海味了。
