今年我们组制订的英语学科活动为：“小学生英语作文大赛”，主要是五、六年级的学生参赛。
开学初，我在我们组订的英语报纸上看到了“小学生英语作文大赛”的消息，免报名费，但是，又仔细一读，每个参赛选手要订阅全年的报纸，大约三十多元，这等于是有报名费的。在教研会上讨论时，大家认为订阅报纸钱数过多，订阅的报纸也没有时间组织学生学*，不如在五、六年级组织比赛作文，不收报名费，成为我们组的学科活动，这一共识达成之后，我们五、六年级的四位英语教师就把任务布置下去了：题目自拟，题材不限，字数达50个单词以上，语言流畅，书写美观。
我们给学生的写作时间是一个月。
十一月，我们的活动正式开展。经过统计，此次作文比赛共收上来英语文章240余篇，其中五年级110篇，六年级130篇。经过各位教师的评选，批改，共评出一等奖20人，二等奖50人，三等奖80人，鼓励参与奖90人。各奖项已经发了奖品作为奖励。
本次活动的举行，五、六年级的学生参与性强，经常有孩子来问老师怎么选题，用什么时态来写，这个句型这样写行不行，这句话中的这个词能不能用别的词来代替。他们写好以后，还请教师批改，再工工整整的重新誊抄一遍，在写作文的过程当中，他们的词汇增多了，句型运用更灵活了，就连书写也美观了，许多学生有了收获。
本次活动的举行，体现了小学英语课程标准的对学生的写的能力的要求，并且高于新课标的要求，对学生的写作能力是个锻炼，提高了他们写作的积极性，促使他们积极主动的学*，从要我背单词到我要积极的多背单词。学*态度发生了转变。体现了新课标的要求。
本次活动也有值得注意的地方：
一．学生的参与面再广一些就好了；
二．教师先给范文，再让学生摹写，对更多的学生是个锻炼；
三．好的英语小作文要收集好，制作出作文集锦，让学生互相学*；
“日月如梭，光阴似箭”，不知不觉中，我从一个说话咿咿呀呀的幼儿，长成了一个讲英文都很流畅的巧嘴小姑娘。
那天，我报名参加了“英语趣配音大赛”。
比赛在农校演播大厅进行，我早早来到了赛场熟悉环境，嘴里不停地练*着赛前的自我介绍。
比赛快开始了，小李老师刚跟我们说完了比赛规则，两位主持人便闪亮登场了。他们用清脆流利的英语开场之后，比赛正式开始。
哎？怎么跟我一起学英语的两位同学和我一样都是A组啊？好在我是A6最后一个号”。好想听听B、C组的选手怎么读，也好参谋参谋啊……我的心里不住地在打鼓。
第一位参赛同学上场了，她向大家自我介绍后，开始了趣配音，有点小紧张，毕竟是第一个选手啊，配音完毕后，我不由替她长呼了一口气。
第二位同学是我认识的张煜谨同学，她讲的时候，我用心听她有没有读错的和漏掉的内容。
一会功夫就轮到了另外一位同学李源卿。我满怀期待地听着他的配音“功夫熊猫”，感受他的语速、语调、情感的.把握，自己好借鉴一下。
“下一位A5号选手请上场，A6号准备”主持人话音一落，我紧张的心情无以言表，心都快要跳出来了。在5号配音快结束时，我又默默回忆了一下自己的内容。
这时，主持人宣布：“请A6号选手上场……”我便怀着紧张而又兴奋的心情走向赛台。面带笑容向评委和观众做了自我介绍，然后开始了配音“我们一起捉迷藏”……配音播放完毕后，听到台下响起了热烈的掌声，我迈着轻松的步伐回到了自己的座位。
激烈的比赛进行了将*两个小时才结束。
主持人报了前三名的获奖名单，却没有我，我的心揪紧了。
直到老师报优秀奖时，才点到我的名字，我的心里一阵失落，我忍住伤心对自己说：“不能灰心，只要继续努力，就一定能取得好成绩。”
最后老师单独和我说了一句话：“下次多加练*，下次会成功的！”我听小李老师这么一说，心里才舒服了一些……
“英语棋”，在英语老师推荐我参加本次新兴杯之前我还没有听说过。她帮我们报名后，组织班里的参赛选手开始练*，我才第一次接触到这个棋。
老师给我们讲了下棋的规则，我一下子就爱上了这个“游戏”，它能帮助我们解决记单词的困难，使我们在玩中反复记忆单词，在玩棋的过程中动手动脑。
比赛当天，我心里很没底，因为*时的单词储备量不是很大，战战兢兢的走进赛场。果真棋逢对手，我们俩没有像其它选手那样，几个回合就草草结束，一直坚持对决到最后。这个棋不仅要求有英语词汇量，还要有下棋的“战术”，因为最后是要靠积分取胜。由于自己会下象棋，围棋等，尤其精通国际象棋，所以在比赛中就会运用到布局，战略计算，因为所组成单词的字母放在不同位置上积分是不同的，有的甚至可以得到九倍积分。
经过激烈对战，我取得了两百多分的战绩，最后夺得了此次比赛的一等奖。比赛后，爸爸给我购买了一套初级版英语棋，我们经常在家里对弈。这个棋不仅可以背单词，还可以开发智力，锻炼我们的条理性，开拓思维，增强记忆力，提高判断力。我以后把棋带到学校，利用下课时间大家一起切磋。希望同学们都能爱上它！

今天是 12月26日 ，快乐的圣诞节终于来到了，同时我们又迎来了盼望已久的第二届英语节的到来。
下午四点钟，队员们入场了。会场设在学校的学术报告厅，那里早已经是灯火通明，正前方的表演台四周挂满五颜六色的气球，在灯光的照射下，绚丽无比，美丽极了。这时，观众台上也坐满了人，大厅里开着暖气，热烘烘的，整个大厅就像一个大烤箱。

The spring festival is the most important festival for Chinese. At Chinese New Year’s Eve, family members have reunion dinner together. This dinner would be the best dinner, not only because we have various dishes, but it’s the day we could meet all our family members.

Dragon Boat Festival, often known as Tuen Ng Festival or Duan Wu Festival, is a traditional Chinese festival held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar. The exact origins of Duan Wu are unclear, but one traditional view holds that the festival memorializes the Chinese poet Qu Yuan of the Warring States Period. 不知您是否还记得那件事那次期中考，我考的很差，伤心了好几天，您知道后，就找我去谈心，您静静的看着我，，眼睫毛时不时眨动着，但您的目光不动。昔日严肃的面庞，挂着一种温和的笑容。那是这样的一种眼神，有关爱，有温馨，有期望，有激励，那么明亮，那么闪烁，给我温暖，给我勇气！霎时间，来自心灵的感觉传遍全身，是震撼，更是感激。悲伤已没有必要，有的只是一个新的起点，一次摔倒后的重新爬起，一次为了成功必须迎接失败。
老师，我们相处的时间是365天，但时间早已悄悄流逝，一晃就过去，也许有人说的对快乐的时光很容易流失，我能感觉到你这段时间尽心尽力的`为我们付出。因为您的鼓励，让我有重新起航的信心；因为您的邮件，让我有勇敢面对困难的信心；谢谢您让我对现在充满活力，对未来充满理想。这一年的点点滴滴，一个个动人的情景把我的生活点缀得精彩美丽，也把我的记忆巩固得刻骨铭心。我忘不了您！

Guangzhou, a wonderful city.Guangzhou is my home town. It is the capital of Guangdong Province, and it is also called Yangcheng. It is convenient for us to visit where you want to go. Because Guangzhou subway stations can be seen in everywhere.
It is a good idea to visit Guangzhou Tower when you first time to Guangzhou. Guangzhou Tower is the most representative building which is the tallest tower in Guangzhou. Near the Guangzhou Tower is the Pearl River which is one of the longest rivers in China.
Guangzhou is famous for its food. You can eat all kinds of foods here. On top of that, you can taste the morning tea which is the delicious breakfast in Guangzhou. Such as rice noodles roll, wonton, Bamboo-pressed Noodles and Shrimp Dumpling.
You will be attracted by Guangzhou and don’t want to go home if you come to Guangzhou.
It seems like a silly question, anyone in sane would give a hand to the elderly who fell. But in China, this question is becoming tricky. Many news report that there are some old people not just fell, they do it on purpose.
Usually, they walk on a crowdy street, and pretend to faint or just lay down on the ground, intend to accuse the one who comes to help as a perpetrator and blackmail him/her for the treatment fee.
Many people have fell for that and had to pay as there is no witness to prove their innocence. As for these negative news, people is afraid to help those old people in need, that makes some of them who are in real trouble could not get help in time. I once asked one of my friends: “Why the old people turn bad? If you see one in the street, would you help?”
He said: “It is not the old people turn bad, it is the bad people turn old. I will video him/her to make a statement first, then decide if I would help.”
这似乎是个愚蠢的问题,任何清醒的人遇到跌倒的老人都会伸出援助之手。但在*，这个问题变得棘手。很多新闻报道说有些老人不只是跌倒而已，他们是故意这么做的。通常他们会走到人潮涌动的街头，假装晕倒或者是直接躺在地上，想要指控那些来帮助他的人为肇事者，敲诈他们要治疗费。很多人都上当了，由于没有目击者证明他们的清白，他们被迫支付了费用。正因为这些负面新闻，人们害怕去帮助那些需要帮助的老人，也因此造成了那些真正有困难的老人没有得到及时的帮助。我曾经问我一个朋友：“为什么现在的老人变坏了？如果你在街上看到这样的老人你会帮助吗？”他说：“不是老人变坏了，是坏人变老了。我会先录像让他做一个声明，再决定是否帮助他。”

With Spring Festival drawing near, I’d like to invite you to my home to experience the festival.
When you come, we can enjoy traditional Chinese food together, and then put up Spring Festival couplets. As a traditional custom, the couplets are always posted on the door of a house. Written on red paper, a couplet is composed of two lines of poetry, which rhyme with each other. Not only do the couplets add some joyous atmosphere to the festival, but also they express people’s wishes for a better life.
