今天下午，风和日丽，我们全校师生在学校操场上隆重地举行了“金五小第十三届‘红色之旅’爱国主义读书教育活动动员大会”。
首先是刘兴保主任做了上一届“心系祖国，健康成长”爱国主义读书教育活动的总结。学校领导还给在上一届的读书活动中获奖的同学颁了奖。其中五（3）班的邓小恬同学还代表我们学校参加了“讲故事”比赛，获得了全国级三等奖，学校领导给了她一枚奖牌和一个书包，真令人羡慕！
接下来的由刘静萍副校长抑扬顿挫的动员讲话赢得了同学们的掌声。
这时，“大人物”登场了，以前的河池游击队的韦焕西老爷爷要给我们讲讲以前的战争是什么样子的，师生们的掌声更加热烈了！韦焕西老爷爷今年已经74岁了，可是以前的战争他还记忆忧新，于是，他滔滔不绝地讲了起来……听着韦焕西老爷爷的讲话就像在听催眠曲一样，让人好想睡觉啊，我只记得他讲了很久很久，差不多有半个小时了，我想：这个老爷爷真厉害，讲了那么久也不累，真奇怪！……终于，他结束了自己的讲话，我听到他说以前他们队每天都是过着提心吊胆的日子，他16岁就去从军了……经过他漫长的发言，我们的感触都挺深的，如果没有以前那些老革命者的浴血奋战，也就不会有我们幸福的今天！
动员大会在不知不觉中结束了，我想：我要好好学*，将来为祖国贡献出我的智慧，为祖国贡献出我的一切！
以前，我的爱好有很多，如打羽毛球、跳绳、设计小服装等等，唯独不喜欢读书，每次妈妈叫我读书，我都会说：“书有什么好看的，就像剩饭剩菜，难以下咽，哪有动画片好看，又生动，又有趣。”
