In my 18 years of life, there have been many things. University days are the best part of them. I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. I was impressed by its garden-like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.
After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can.
Frankly speaking, at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers' guidance, I made remarkable progress. Now I've benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.
Learning is a long process; I'll keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. This summer I got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. A publishing house offered me a part-time job in compilation and revision.
At the beginning I was belittled by my colleagues. But they were really surprised when I translated seven English articles over 5,000 words on only one day. Gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes. In their opinion I turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.
I also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. So I often take part in activities concerning public welfare. I once went to a barren mountain village with my classmates. We taught the kids there who could not afford school. While showing them how broad and how civilized the outer world is, I was dee*** touched by their eagerness to learn, their honesty and their purity. I couldn't control my tears on the day when we left. The precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us, future teachers.

Campus life is the most splendid time. But different people have different choices. I'm so glad to stand here today to share my idea about Beijing Olympic Games together with you all. The title of my speech is: what can we do for Beijing Olympic Games?
First of all, let me tell you a story that happened 2 years ago. At the end of August, 20xx, when I decided to come to Beijing for study, my friends hel* * **rewell Party for me. They said: after your graduation, you should look for a job in Beijing, and then in 20xx, we shall go to visit you during the Olympic Games. I laughed and answered: OK, no problem!
Time flied and 2 years passed. Now I am a graduate. My teachers and classmates always ask me: what's your plan after your graduation? Go back home, stay in Beijing, or go to some other places? I can say i'm no less nervous than my fellow and he was on the first time coming before this house. I can say ladies and gentlemen, that the problem we are facing before us, the problem that i have to deal with today, is how to define success.
It is often too easy, it is often too simplistic to define success as something external, something objective, something dealing with money, fame or reputation. But what i believe success is that it is not external. It comes from within. it is internal. i believe success is that you have to have your own ideals, and that you have faith in those ideals, even in the face of extreme adversity. and that is my definition of success.I also believe that success is not discriminatory. success does not attach to a mere particular class of individuals. i believe that each and every individual, regardless of race, gender, class or even economic background, has an equal right to success, because each person has the right to develop his own ideals and to pursue those ideals.
A good example of this is the composer beethoven, a man who all of us know has created great symphonies. this man was deaf. this man was unable to hear his own majestic pieces of work. And yet, he held to his ideal of creation of music to the very end. then what exactly does the definition of success mean to me?To answer this question, to exemplify it, i pose a question to this house. i pose a question what brings us here together today, ladies and gentlemen, students and educators as you like.
And the answer that i have found is the love for the spoken word.
Love for the spoken word means how it is to express, how it is to listen, how it is to understand. Because what happens when you have a pause, what happens when you have a rhetoric speech all differs on the impact and communication that you have on your audience. But the meaning of the spoken word applies ever more strongly to those who are unable to speak, or are unwilling to speak. Because all the beautiful thoughts and emotions encapsulated in that person will inevitably be lost, if that person is not able to speak.
I once went to australia in 1998,and i saw two pictures drawn by three-year-old children. One was drawn by a normal child, one was drawn by what is known as an autistic child, a child which is exclusive, which is unable to express himself verbally to other people. And you could see the difference between the pictures. one was a picture of a horse very simple and straightforward. one was a picture of a horse a gain, but you could see the life, you could see the spirit, and you could see the detail behind that picture.
So the point i want to make here is that these people do have emotion they understand a lot, but it is very very fatal that they are not able to express themselves. and my definition of success is to share with them the beauty of the spoken word. my definition of success is to teach and be able to change these people's lives, because i have had the opportunity of encountering these people in my times either at school or during my summer jobs. i have had the time and opportunity to change these people. i have had the time to see exactly what exactly they go d1rough and to understand that point.
My ideal here is to share the beauty of the spoken word to these people. it is fright fatal that these people are not given the opportunity to be understood by the world. i say it because these people are often neglected by the public. i say it because people often think they are awkward and different. but i say we cannot forgive these acts because we must have a proactive approach to teach these people.
I say, ladies and gentlemen, that is important to keep your ideals.I say we should not have a premature abortion of ideals. It is easy to stray; it is easy to be distracted. what i say is let your ideals live on. let the child of your ideals live on, because what i want to leave you with is living you life without an ideal means that your life is not worth living at all. thank you.
Once upon a time, there was a sad elephant. He was dirty and stinky, because he could not reach to wash his back. All the other animals didn’t play with him because he was smelly.
Elephant sat under a tree, where nobody could see him. He started to cry. His head was hanging down, crying big tears. He sat and cried for days. One day, when his tears had dried up, he went to itch his head and he felt a bump on his back. 一、Daydreaming life
To have everything done by my robot, I sit in the garden en of my villa and watch the pink snow flowing in the sky with all kinds of delicious food circling around me. I reach out for the goodies. Ling-ling-ling! Suddenly the telephone rings. Oh, it’s only a daydream.
With the mixture of romance and imagination, the girl who likes daydreaming appears to be here. With my love for delicious food, I always daydreamed of many goodies being severed to me. Although I awoke every time without having a taste at those goodies, these interesting experience have relaxed my brain, and the hope for a bright future has encouraged me to be more diligent to realize my daydreams. The necessary element romance has helped me to have more fun in my daily life and get closer to the beautiful nature. The element imagination has helped me to be more creative in my study and daily life.
But daydreams need a limit. I only allows myself to daydream at the right time and for certain times for fear that I would get too far from the real life or will be too lazy to work hard lost in those remote daydreams.

what's the most important event in your life?different people may have different answers.and i have gotten my answer these days----that is coming to wuyi university where my life has great changes,in other words,the university life has brought many "first times" to me----the new experience.
when i was at high school,i was told that the university life was wonderful,full of freedom and chanllenges,so i was really looking forward to my own life in university,dreaming of the beautiful campus,interesting courses and all kinds of activities.
however, when it really came to me,it's a different story at the beginning.i took my first step into the campus with disappointment,beacause the buildings look too old and drad.i still remember the day when daddy drove me here and i was unwiling to get out of the car and say goodbye to him.on the way to jiangmen,i hope if only the car slowed down or the road was longer.
there's no doubt that as a freshman i couldn't adapt myself to the new life here due to the differences between university life and high school life,in particular the one dependent like me.once i was at a boarding school,however,living in the university is not the same as before,you know,it's the first time for me to be so far away from home.i felt homesick and even a little afraid,and i phoned mummy and daddy almost every day.what's more,at home mummy and daddy do everything for me,because i am a child forever in their eyes,so they always protect me from being hurted.but now i have to learn to be independent and do everything by myself.

The games will be held just outside the capital and the whole area will be called “Olympic city”. In a way,building Olympic Games is an image-creating undertaking.The first and foremost thing is to let people fall in love with the city at first sight,attracting them by its unique image.With a concept inspired by the famed Silk Road,our Torch Relay will break old idea,traveling from beginning through some of the oldest civilizations known to man-Greek,Indian and Chinese.Carrying the massage “Share the peace,Share the Olympics.”The flame will pass through Tibet,cross the yellow rivers,travel the Great Wall and visit Taiwan and the 56 Ethnic communities who make up our society.On its journey,the flame will be seen by and inspire more human beings than any previous relay.Do you know ? Everyone in the capital is preparing himself for the Olympic Games by learning English. Because we must get most of Chinese to speak English before 20xx.But as all know ,environment protection is an important problem of Beijing Olympics. But I believe ,we can unite together to win the competition of the enviroment protection in Beijing, and present the world a big gold medal. That is “Green Beijing,Green Olympics.”Let’s join the Olympics together.That’s all, Thank you for listening. 大家好，我是吉首大学一名大四的旅游管理的学生，旅游管理的同学们在哪里看看好吗?（姓名介绍）。我不想说自己作为一个嘉宾站在这里，我想我就是你们其中的一员一份子来说说，英语口语的学*。在此之前，我们自己来说说英语口语中你们说遇到的问题，有1、没有语言环境2、发音不标准3、 看看有遇到外国人想搭讪的？都遇到什么情况?没有朋友之间你推我，我推你，最后谁都没有去成，2、有没有自己心里鼓起巨大勇气，激动了老半天，心脏都快蹦出来了，结果老外从你身边走了。3、有木有默默地飘过的生活中有许许多多这样的情况，特别是在张家界这样的旅游城市，每天都会遇到老外，每天不知道有多少这样子联系英语口语的机会，但永远飘过我们的身边。所以面对大家说的没有语言环境或者是练*没有好拍档，我个人认为第一点也是最重要的`一点抓住你身边的每一可以练*的机会。人生不是没有机会，而是机遇来到你的身边的时候，你没有准备好。 今天，我们的整个新闪亮团队给大家带来一次这种学*的英语口语的机会，不仅人我们报一大堆的英语证书，为了和还可以和老外自由的沟通。让我看看向过四六级又想学好英语口语的人有多少。我就结合自身的经历，练*英语口语我一路的旅行一路的练*。1、抓住每一个沟通外语的机会，我自己呢就是搭讪老外，只要是外国人就不会放过机会，……………………（尼泊尔，荷兰）2、积极运用肢体语言…………3、找美国人或者年轻人 4、学会用自己已有的词汇表达（迪拜，***塔酒店，又称迪拜帆船酒店）5学会猜（美国，湘雅医院）听了那么多事情你们就一定觉得我的英语很好，如果用中国应试教育的标准来说，我确实比较 low，我高中三年就高考英语及格而且是那种擦边球那种的，每次一做题目我都觉得正确答案有问题，题目明明是说我学到了什么，我学到了A正确答案确是告诉我学到了B。学到了什么不是学生说了算吗？反倒老师成我们肚子肥虫知道了。 对于英语口语一路的旅行一路的练*，旅行过程中处处有各种各样和老外搭讪学英语的机会。人生旅途的机遇也是如此，你和各种各样的机遇擦肩而过，有时候或许算不上机会但你却创造了机会。有时候特显眼的机会摆在你面前你却不知道。今天我们新闪亮就带了这么一个让大家不仅向前一个同学一样可以拿到四六级高分，而且可以在人生的旅途中面对外国人想说就说。加入新闪亮就是个机会， 你见，或者不见我，机会就在这里，里不悲不喜 你愿，或者不愿意，机会还在这里，不来不去 你来，或者不不来，机会依旧就在这里，不增不减 你跟，或者不跟我，选择就在你的手里，我不舍不弃来等你们来新闪亮的大家庭里，者让新闪亮住进你的心里，默然相爱，寂静喜欢 我们期待你们加入新闪亮，抓住这个机遇，抱着你的证书，打开你的口腔，我们一起来说，一起来练*，一起来进步，一起来成长。最后我们玩一个游戏，请伸出我们右手在伸出我们的左手，两手掌心不断碰撞在一起热烈欢迎（*******）。 Enjoy that uniquenesss1. You are unique! 在我心中，有许许多多的、多姿多彩的中国梦。这些梦，曾经让我心潮澎湃，曾经让我热血沸腾，曾经让我心驰神往。无时无刻，我都在为国家美好的未来憧憬着。但是，我清楚地认识到，让国家强盛的重要角色，就是我们---那好似喷薄的朝阳的莘莘学子---正是我们的强弱，决定着祖国的未来。正所谓梁启超说的“少年强则国强”，确实不错。殊不知，在广大学子背后，还有一位重要角色，那，就是像蜡烛一样，燃烧自己，照亮别人，默默奉献的老师们。在一定程度上，好老师决定好学生。所以，师资力量和教育质量也同样重要。作为一名学生，我多么希望有一个好老师啊！那么，我心目中的好老师是什么样子的呢？ 首先，一名好老师应该拥有渊博的知识,更重要的是将课讲活﹑讲精、讲好。一名语文老师，应该诗词历史，写作阅读，无所不通，无所不知。一名数学老师，应该将奥数几何，各种运算，运用自如。一名英语老师，应该说一口纯正英语，与外国人轻松交谈。现在的许多老师讲课都有些枯燥古板，甚至学生会因为老师的严厉呆板而失去了一个孩子应有的活泼与想象力，也变得呆板起来，或失去学*的兴趣。那么，一个好老师就应该和学生之间拉*距离，*易*人，成为学生的良师益友：在课堂上激情澎湃、充满感情﹑身临其境地 给学生讲课：激动时手舞足蹈,感动时泪流满面；好笑时忍俊不禁,感慨时长篇大论；和学生一起在课文的浪起浪落中随波遨游,品味课文的苦辣酸甜,感受文章的真谛与乐趣将课讲活﹑讲精、讲好；尽量和学生互动学*，让学生带有感情地上课，身临其境地去学*，在学中玩，玩中学；当学生对上课产生兴趣时，往往能产生事半功倍的效果。而这，就是一个好老师应该做到的第一点。 一个好老师不仅要拥有渊博的知识,将课讲活﹑讲精、讲好，还要有高尚的师德。的确，一个老师的师德将会影响一个学生的思想。一位好老师，就应该抓住生活课文中的一点一滴的小事，借机把好的思想传输给学生，将会使学生终生受益。当看见受伤的小动物时，就应该教育学生：要爱护动物；当看到有人破坏花草树木时,就应该教育学生:要爱户花草树木；当看到有人乱扔垃圾时,应当教育学生；要保护我们赖以生存的地球的环境。在学课文的时候,譬如讲到《自己的花是让别人看的》一课时,应不失时机地教育学子：要学会“人人为我,我为人人”的品质；讲到《金钱的魔力》一文,老师又应及时地告诫学生:千万不要像托德与老板那样有着见钱眼开的丑态,不要为金钱所动……当然,不仅要教育学生,老师自己也要做出榜样。例如:当大家在班级大扫除中都干得有气无力时，老师带头大干起来，挥如汗雨---用自己的实际行动来打动我们、鼓励我们；再如：当大家在街上看 见残疾人乞讨而冷冰冰不予理睬时，老师上前去，用同情与怜悯的目光看他一眼，用手递上一张大钞---用自己的行动去感化学生心灵中的角落，教育他们成为一个***的好少年…… 现在，不少教师经常体罚或破口大骂一些犯错误及成绩不太好的同学。看到身边发生的一个个典型事例，我十分痛心，并坚决反对这种做法。我认为，真正的`教育不是对学生体罚或破口大骂，这是一种能深深刺痛孩童们的心的做法。遭受了这样“待遇”的同学们，不仅会心情愈来愈低落，对学*的兴趣也会越来越低……这种状况发展到最后，就会对这些莘莘学子们---甚至是祖国的未来---产生不良的影响。所以，我认为，一个好老师在学生成绩不好或犯错的时候，应该亲切地去鼓励他，指出他的错误在哪，接着，以足够的耐心，帮助他改正错误---而不是以体罚或破口大骂的方式。长此以来，学生不仅提高了自信心，还提高了成绩---真是一举两得啊！ …… 现在，是充满生气的20xx年。在这一年里，**曾发表了这一段令人深思的教导：“实现中国梦必须走中国道路，这就是中国特色社会主义道路。这条道路来之不易。它是在改革开放30多年的伟大实践中走出来的，是在中华人民共和国成立60多年的持续探索中走出来的，是在对*代以 来170多年中华民族发展历程的深刻总结中走出来的，是在对中华民族5000多年悠久文明的传承中走出来的，具有深厚的历史渊源和广泛的现实基础。中华民族是具有非凡创造力的民族，我们创造了伟大的中华文明，我们也能够继续拓展和走好适合中国国情的发展道路。全国各族人民一定要增强对中国特色社会主义的理论自信、道路自信、制度自信，坚定不移沿着正确的中国道路奋勇前进。 “实现中国梦必须弘扬中国精神。这就是以爱国主义为核心的民族精神，以改革创新为核心的时代精神。这种精神是凝心聚力的兴国之魂、强国之魂。爱国主义始终是把中华民族坚强团结在一起的精神力量，改革创新始终是鞭策我们在改革开放中与时俱进的精神力量。全国各族人民一定要弘扬伟大的民族精神和时代精神，不断增强团结一心的精神纽带、自强不息的精神动力，永远朝气蓬勃迈向未来。 “实现中国梦必须凝聚中国力量，这就是中国各族人民大团结的力量。中国梦是民族的梦。也是每个中国人的梦。只要我们紧密团结，万众一心，为实现共同梦想而奋斗，实现梦想的力量就无比强大，我们每个人为实现自己梦想的努力就拥有广阔的空间。生活在我们伟大祖国和伟大时代的中国人民，共同享有人生出彩的机会，共同享有梦想成真的机会，共同享有同祖国和时代一起成长与进步的机会。有梦想，有机会，有奋斗，一切美好的东西都能够创造出来的。全国 各族人民一定要牢记使命，心往一处想，劲往一处使，用14亿人的智慧和力量，汇集起不可战胜的磅礴力量！”**的教导，给我留下了深刻的印象。让我们听从党的号召，好好学*，天天向上，为祖国的未来努力着---还有，那令人尊敬的老师们，请你们协助我们，奔向美好的、祖国的未来！ 尊敬的各位老师、同学们： 大家早上好！ 我的名字叫xxx，今年12岁了。这一次，我获得了“全国中小学生英语口语大赛”一等奖，感到非常辛运，在这里，我要感谢我的父母，是他们给我创造了安静的环境让我更好的练*口语；感谢我所在的三义里小学，是这所学校给我了这次参赛的机会；感谢我的班主任程老师，是她精心指导我怎样说英语；感谢我们办的全班同学，是他们一直在支持我，鼓励我。谢谢你们！ 我从英语是全班最差的同学，变成了一个获得过“全国中小学生英语口语大赛”一等奖的英语小天才，我无数次的不想再坚持练下去，我用自己与同学们玩的时间，在练字。我是多么希望像别的同学一样，快活的玩着。我就像一个还没有完全学会走路的小孩，一路走的磕磕绊绊，可是，我用自己的毅力克服了自己，慢慢的我去认真地走好每一步，最终我是成功的，我是快乐的！ 此时此刻我捧着手中的奖，心里感慨万千。虽然并不多，但我想这每一个奖的背后都是各位同学日夜苦战，用自己的勤奋努力和老师家长们的付出换来的。我不想说我们累，更不想说我们苦。因为我们是青春、潇洒的'90后，风雨过后我们依然会展露笑容，今日的累是为了我们明日的辉煌，为了我们肩上那不可推卸的历史重任。我相信我们会做的更好。 不过，获得了奖并不意味着就达到了我们的目标而可以停滞不前。在人生旅途中，获奖只是一种助推器，而不是最根本的动力器。我们要如何前进？答案就掌握在我们自己的手中。所以，奖并不是我们最终的目标，而是我们前进路途中的一股动力。我们应正确看待这种奖励和荣誉。不能因为一时取得好的成绩而骄傲，也不能因为成绩一时不理想而气馁。学*就如逆水行舟，不进则退。只有不断地努力，不骄不躁，认真对待学*，不轻言放弃，看淡得失。以一颗*常心，踏实勤奋。才能取得更优异的成绩，才能创造更美好的未来。当然，没有获得奖的同学更不能放弃。要努力起来，哪怕最终没有成功，最起码自己努力了，也无愧于心。 作为一名学生，面对获奖，我除了些许的紧张和好奇，更多的是一份坦然，我们相信努力就会成功。在此，我也想送上我衷心的祝福，希望你们能放飞自己的理想，创出更美的辉煌。谢谢大家！ 谢谢大家！英语口语演讲稿12
