I always feel tired after eight classes a day, so my dream school starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. There are three lessons in the morning and two in the afternoon. We can choose our favorite lessons to learn. We can spend more time doing some outside reading. The students do after-school activities for one and a half hours every day. We needn’t do a lot of homework. We are all happy to stay at school.

In this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon’s tooth. This is a true story. chuzhongchusan 65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. He often visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon.
He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted one to keep as a treasure. In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had to leave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one of the teeth from the dragon’s mouth. He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older.
Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 20xx, he visited Qingdao and returned it to the Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome. The title of my speech is Protect the Environment, Protect Ourselves. I hope you will like it. Everybody knows waste paper and used coke cans are discarded everywhere. Our environment is the place in which we live, but it is being ruined by us. There is a story about house and trees. It is said that a man’s house was surrounded by a lot of trees. Though the wind was strong, that man could have a good rest under the trees. How comfortable the life was! One day, that man wanted to enlarge his house, so he cut down all the trees. Then the autumn came without the protection.
The strong wind blew the roof of the house into the sky. The whole house was gone with the wind. What a pity! But that’s the price people have to pay for destroying in the ecology balance. People shouldn’t be short-sighted. Protecting the environment is everyone’s task. As you know, there are four kinds of pollution. They are air pollution, water pollution, waste pollution and noise pollution. But what can we do to solve the pollution? I think, firstly, we can make cars that don’t pollute the environment. We can ask companies to use modern clean technology. In some big cities, we can limit the number of cars. Secondly, we can try to use less water and make sure that we do not pollute the water. We can tell factories that they are not allowed to pour waste water into the lakes and rivers. Thirdly, we should not throw rubbish in parks and cities. We can pick up rubbish if we see it. 首先，也是最重要的一点，那就是一定要刻苦努力。天道酬勤的不容置疑性已被诸多鲜活的事例所证明，智力因素对学*效果的影响与是否勤奋比起来是微乎其微的。一切现在的成绩都只是暂时的，都是可以变动的，而且只有努力了，才会使其向好的方向发展。

我也并不是要同学们把时间都花在学*上，其它什么事情都不用做，只是做任何事情都是有一个重点的，就像我们的课本中也会有重点和不那么重要的知识点。我们要明白对于我们来说什么事情才是重点，什么才是我们最应该花时间去做的事情。我们现在是学生，对于学生来说最重要的就是学*，这是理所当然的。所以我们应该把努力的学*作为我们首先要做的事情，不能因为其它的事情耽误自己的学*。偶尔想放松也不是不可以的，只是不能耽误自己的学*。

生活有时会逼迫你，不得不改换爱好，不得不放弃机遇。所以，生活中应该学会放弃。
“生如夏花之绚烂，死如秋叶之静美。”这一句美好的诗正是昭君的写照。“昭君出塞”的故事流芳百世.昭君放弃了宫廷中奢侈糜烂的生活，放弃了舒适安逸的生活，放弃了与家人的友情、亲情，远离家乡，来到别国他乡。“一去紫台连朔漠，独留青冢向黄昏。”历朝的诗人都为汉文帝的昏庸感到遗憾，又为昭君不幸的遭遇叹息。殊不知，从客观上看，昭君的放弃是明智的，她放弃了自己的幸福，换来了边塞地区人民数十年安定的生活，也使得昭君的芳名流传千古，成为佳话。
有时候，放弃也是一种智慧。
小时侯，老师常教育我们“做事不能半途而废，一定要坚持到底，无论成败，必定会有收获。”难道注定失败，还要坚持?虽然说选择了就应该不畏困难地向前走，但是如果当你发觉前路并非如你想象般理想时，你便应该理智地选择放弃，重新审视走过的路，然后再去制订一份适合自己的计划，如果你依然在黑暗中摸索前进，不顾后果，那么你将无法体验成功，因为你把自己困在了过去定位的框架中，以为坚持就一定可以胜利。
这样的坚持是一种自我折磨。这样的坚持是一种奢侈浪费。
当然，我所选择的放弃是问心无愧地付出后的舍弃。在对的时间，选择对的，又何论是放弃或坚持呢?有一个小孩，内富想象力的文学，以至于他在这一方面一直过于*庸。经过深思熟虑后他选择了放弃，听从化学老师的建议选择了化学。几十年后，这个呆板而缺乏灵气的孩子成了著名的化学家。他，就是拉瓦希。回想他的一生，如果当时，他没有毅然地选择放弃文学，那么今天怎会有那么多人崇拜他?可见，适当的时候选择放弃是一种英明。

缕缕阳光带着刚升起的新鲜劲，调皮的透过窗户的缝隙，将那微弱却很温暖的日光撒在这株月季上，许是昨晚窗户没关，几丝露珠从窗外蹦跳进窗内的这株月季上。
我坐在这株月季的对面，陶醉地看着这些如珍珠般圆润，似钻石般闪耀，像精灵般可爱的露珠在娇小、可爱、心形状的枝叶上滚动着。忽然我注意到一个小骨朵，它迎着阳光在水珠的照射下，竟射出一弯小小的彩虹围绕着它，这是一个新生命的诞生，也预示着这小骨朵将来的美丽。
我静静观赏着它，这骨朵似裹着一层轻柔的碧色丝绸，形如桃状，十分幼小，它秃圆的顶部，一滴殷红点缀在其中，四周有片片锯齿般锋利的绿色花叶围护着它，让人不易察觉它的存在。
我想植物许是同我们一样，都向往大自然，渴望自由，对新鲜事物充满好奇，便将它搬到户外，随着时间慢慢流逝，我也渐渐将它遗忘，但在一个雨后，我跑得匆忙，竟被这株月季所绊倒，这使我驻步凝视。
这株月季由于雨水的冲刷，枝、叶明显掉落不少，但这并不让它看起来狼狈不堪，却显得更加精神抖擞，落下的只是枯枝残叶，并不为它们掉落而惋惜，这使它展露出藏身于枝叶间的花蕾，才几天未见，它便从原来稚嫩孩童般青涩模样长成现在的享享玉立，娇羞少女一般，它的根也壮实许多，已有了生存于自然的能力，我将它移栽到真正的大自然之中。
一阵狂风暴雨之后，太阳重新普照大地，我走出屋子，看着杯中浸泡着的月季茶，这让我不禁想起那次移栽的月季，我的脚似乎不受自己的控制，捧着月季茶便向种着月季的地方走去。
那朵含苞欲放的花蕾现在已经完全绽放，它舒展身姿，在微风的抚摸下又挺拔了许多，它的茎上长出了能够保护娇者的利刺，虽然月季要比玫瑰娇小几分，但这更能显出它的精致，它也不亚于玫瑰的娇艳欲滴。
这是它一生中最美的时刻，它尽情地展露身姿，散发清香，为大自然增添一份艳丽，那怒放的花朵给世人的美丽不正如胡忠，谢晓君夫妇吗?那茎上的利刺不正似朱光亚一生只做一件事来保卫着国家，捍卫着尊严，显示着中华民族的铮铮傲骨吗?那高伸的枝干不正像吴菊萍一样，接住生命，托住了幼吾幼以及人之幼的传统美德吗?他们都并不比我们高大，但已经让我们仰望，他们都实现了自己的人生价值。

我演讲的主题是：态度决定一切。
李响这个名大家知道吗?她是一个女人，一名*足球记者。不知道她的名没关系，有一个人的名曾经和李响一度连在一起，这个人是一个老外，一个古怪老头，他就是前*男足主帅―――米卢蒂诺维奇。
随着时间的流逝，米卢在国人的记忆中渐渐远去。他在*的执教来去匆匆，留下的是
褒贬不一，但有一点不可否认的是，他的到来改变了*足球的宿命，带领*队44年来首次杀进世界杯决赛圈，完成了*足球多年的夙愿。米卢给国人留下的，不仅仅是我们可以引以为荣的那次欣喜，也不只是他脸上那份诡异莫测的笑容，更重要的他的那一句名言──态度决定一切。
什么是态度?在我看来，态度是一种心态，是一种看法，是一种观点，更是一种追求、一种精神、一种信念。我们每一天中，都在不停地做着这样或者那样的决定，有时我们去选择，去坚持，有时我们去拒绝，去放弃，而左右这些决定的，恰恰就是我们对事物的看法和态度。对于每一个人来说，无论是为人处事还是工作生活，态度至关重要，它决定了我们生活中太多。
在这里，我想举几个例子：
一个是古代的。蒲松龄大家一定都知道，他在自己后期的科举考试屡次不中、落魄至极的时候，亲自写下了一幅励志自勉联。全文是：“有志者事竟成，破釜沉舟百二秦关终属楚;苦心人天不负，卧薪尝胆三千越甲可吞吴。”开始时他把这幅对联刻在铜尺之上，后悬置于书屋聊斋书房。整副对联可以说是气势磅礴、催人奋进，引用了史上非常著名的两个典故，一个是楚霸王项羽破釜沉舟灭大秦，另一个是越王勾践卧薪尝胆吞吴国。蒲松龄以此联激励自己，终于以一部《聊斋志异》名垂青史。
第二个例子，现代的，也是发生在我身边的事。以前我在机关工作时，有一位领导，也是一位前辈。为人正直厚道，在他的工作和生活中，没有灯红酒绿，没有受礼行贿，他最大的爱好就是看书。他家中收藏了数千册的书，每天都看上几个小时，多年以来已经成了*惯。书看得多了，谈起话来便引经据典，滔滔不绝，很多人非常崇拜，见面便夸其满腹经纶，才学过人。其实这些人背后说的却是他太过教条死板，虽然身在官场，却不谙政道。在我看来，这其实无可厚非，只是不同的人对待人生的认识和态度不同而已。
他的思想和社会上那些丑恶的、黑暗的、堕落的东西格格不入，他珍视的是书画中那份静谧，花木间那种恬淡，对他来说，这些已经足矣。他总是告诫我们说：“凡事要多学别人的长处，多看自己的短处，多想别人的难处”。他不在乎升官发财，也没有刻意去追求两袖清风，他坚持的，是“宠辱不惊，笑看庭前花开花落;物利两忘，漫望天上云卷云舒”的人生态度，而这种修身养性的境界又有多少人能真正达到呢?
最后一个例子。我说的这个人是我一家子。牛根生大家一定知道吧，蒙牛集团总裁。蒙牛在短短几年的时间里，在*乳制品企业中的排名由第1116位上升到第2位，创造了在诞生之初1余天里*均一天超越一个乳品企业的营销奇迹!“蒙牛速度”，成为*企业的一面旗帜。牛根生靠的是什么，他说过两句话很有名。一句是：“小胜凭智，大胜靠德”，什么意思?“德”是制服人心的最佳利器。德是什么?德就是一种做人、做事的态度。另一句话是：“快乐不是因为拥有的多，而是因为计较的少”。大家品味一下，是不是这个道理呢?
举完了几个例子，我想跟大家说，态度导致好恶各异、取舍不同，于是自然决定成败。工作和生活需要热情和行动，需要一种积极主动、自动自发的精神。试想一下，如果我们每一个人在*常的工作和生活中，少一些抱怨，多一些热情，少一些消极，多一些努力，少一些攀比，多一些淡泊，那么结果会是什么样呢?换句话说，既然今天我们走在了一起，就让我们携起手来，共同去端正态度、表明态度、坚定态度呢，一起走*成功，迈向辉煌!谢谢!
对于一些浅薄的人来说，也许会认为财富的多少决定生活的品质。财富的数量，房子的大小，服装的品牌等，都是决定生活的品质。其实，在我心里并不是这样想的，我觉得选择了欣赏，你就拥有了高尚的生活。生活的品质是决定于我们对生活的态度。取决于你对生活是欣赏还是批评。如果你选择了欣赏。你就拥有了高尚的生活品质。
古代王维，这个名字大家都不陌生吧!他曾隐居山林，他将山林视为人间乐土，领略大自然的美好与宁静。遇见渔翁，当作知己。
王维他居住在山林，可他并不觉得他过得非常的痛苦，在山林里，什么都没有，只能靠自己耕作。而他过得悠然自得。是什么使他这样认为生活的?原来他是以欣赏的角度来看这种生活。古代有许多诗人也隐山而居—陶渊明，他与王维不也一样吗?
一位母亲带着她的两个儿子到公园去玩，看到一只受伤的麻雀，问她的两个儿子，“你们觉得这只麻雀可爱吗?”第一个儿子回答道：“可爱。”而第二个孩子却回答：“不可爱，全身花花麻麻的，丑死了。”妈妈笑了。
妈妈为什么要笑呢?因为第一个儿子是以欣赏的角度来看麻雀，所以他看到的是麻雀的可爱的一面，而二儿子却以批评的角度来看，看到的则是丑陋的一面，她对二儿子的看法有些失望，所以二儿子的话语感到失望而笑了。
我有一个姐姐，她是我的几个姐姐中最臭美的一个。一天，她穿着一身名牌衣服到我家来。她问我和几个兄弟姐妹，“我的衣服有哪里配得不合适的?”我们指出后，几乎没有合适的。
我们都以批评的眼光来看待这身衣服，所以发现的都是不合适的。如果，我们以欣赏的眼光来看则全都合适，没有缺点。
所以，我们不要以批评的眼光来看事物，这样你将一无是处，你看到的将是世间丑恶。一定要以欣赏、赞赏的角度来看待事物，你将“十全十美”。请相信，生活的品质是取决于你对生活的态度。
要记住，态度决定你的前途。也可以体现你的人生观和价值观。让我们以欣赏的态度去面对明天的事情，使我们生活的无忧无虑吧!

晚上好！
今天，作为高一（17）班幸运儿之一的我，十分荣幸地站在这里参加本届。我竞选的是学生会副*一职，虽然我很清楚，我的竞争对手都是各班经过精挑细选选出来的精英，实力不可小觑，但我充分相信自己的能力，所以，今天，我能够站在这里挑战*团！
也许，在我说出这番“豪言壮语”后，有些人会暗自发笑：这小姑娘怎么这么自负！可是我想说，这不是自负，这是自信！一个人如果连自己都不相信，那么他就没有资格做任何事，即使做了，也很难成功！我之所以能够站在这里，大部分是由于我的自信！当然，能力也很重要，因为一个人的信心和能力永远是成正比的。
自从在班里担任纪检委员后，我觉得我各方面能力都有了很大的提高，凭着极大的热情和干练的处事，赢得了同学们的好评，曾两次获得“优秀学生干部”的荣誉。不过成绩代表过去，未来的路还很漫长，在今后我将更加努力，使自己的能力进一步提高！
在管理班级的过程中，难免会遇到各种各样的困难，面对这些困难时，我也曾哭过，也产生过放弃的念头，但我一次又一次的说服自己不要放弃，因为放弃，就意味着以前的努力都白费了，我不甘心。所以，到了今天，我已能坦然面对各种困难，尽自己最大的力量去解决它们。
在参加班级管理的过程中，尤其是参加竞选后，我明白了许多道理：做任何事都要有强烈的责任感，要认真履行自己的职责，才能无愧于心。在管理的'同时，要严格要求自己，因为自己的一举一动都被同学们看在那里，如果连自己都管不好，如何去管别人？当然，管理时一定要有耐心，要顾及同学们的感受，不要去品尝“高处不胜寒”的滋味。否则，会给今后的工作带来许多困难。即使有困难，也*敢面对，不能因为自己是女孩子就过分依赖别人。
也许大家会觉得我说的都是班级管理的琐事，但是，如果连一个班的事都处理不好，怎么会处理好整个学校的事呢？

大家早上好!今天我讲话的题目是“做知法守法的公民”。
12月4日，是*的第四个“宪法日”。之所以确定这一天为“宪法日”，是因为*现行的宪法，在1982年12月4日正式实施。20xx年11月1日十二届*常委会第十一次会议经表决通过了*常委会关于设立国家宪法日的决定，设立每年12月4日为国家宪法日。宪法是国家的根本大法，将宪法实施日定为“宪法日”，意义十分重大。
宪法与我们的生活和学*有着密切的关系，学*、了解宪法对于我们的健康成长意义重大。*同志曾经说过：“法制教育要从娃娃抓起。”青少年是祖国的未来，民族的未来希望。今天的青少年，明天就是国家的保卫者、建设者，是实现中华民族伟大复兴的希望所在。从小培养法律意识，学*法律知识，不仅可以预防和减少违法犯罪，更重要的是能促使我们养成依法办事，遵纪守法的良好*惯。作为新时代的青少年学生，应该重点注意一下三个方面：
第一，要突出学*宣传宪法。
卢梭增说过“一切法律中最重要的法律，既不是刻在大理石上，也不是刻在铜表上，而是铭刻在公民的内心里”，突出抓好宪法的学*宣传教育，对于我们中学生来讲，要着重了解公民的基本权利和义务等内容，增强宪法意识、公民意识、民主法制意识。牢固树立党的领导、人民当家作主和依法治国有机统一的观念，树立权利与义务相统一的观念，形成崇尚宪法、遵守宪法、维护宪法权威的良好氛围。
第二，认真学*与青少年密切相关的基本法律。
比如，《义务教育法》、《未成年保护法》、《预防未成年人犯罪法》等等，通过学*，懂得认真接受教育，全面发展是我们学生的根本任务，懂得为了身心健康成长，必须增强法制观念，提高自我保护意识，争做遵纪守法的公民。
第三，在学校生活中，守法要从守纪做起，养成良好的行为*惯。着重处理好两大关系。
一是处理好自由和纪律的关系。要知道“任何自由都是以约束为前提的”我们每个人都生活在一定的集体之中。集体离不开纪律，纪律是取得集体自由的重要条件。课堂上你有发言的自由，但是你没有说闲话的自由，否则，你就影响了他人认真听课的自由和学*的权利，自由离不开纪律，纪律是自由的保证。
二是处理好权利和义务的关系。宪法规定，公民在行使自己自由和权利的时候，不得损害国家的社会的集体的利益，不得损害其他公民的合法的自由和权利，这是我们正确行使权利的指导原则。你享有接受教育的权利，同时，你也有专心听课、认真完成作业练*的责任和义务;在校园班级中，你享有窗明几净的学*生活环境的权利，但是你也有承担劳动卫生工作的义务。你有言论自由，但是你不得污蔑陷害诽谤他人。世界上没有无义务的权利，也没有无权利的义务。权利和义务是互为依存，密不可分，相辅相成的。
同学们，国无法不治，民无法不立。让我们行动起来，从自己做起，从身边小事做起，自觉做到知法、懂法、守法、护法，为推进我国依法治国方略的实现做出自己应有的贡献。

而在温饱满足的年代，穷，往往又成为一个相对的概念。
比如说我，也正在赶往“小康”的路上，而一旦想到奢侈品，“穷”的阴影当即萦绕心头，内心会产生痛苦。前不久，我跟儿子说，你老爸准备买车啦!儿子说，是啊，是啊，你买一副*象棋，就拥有两部“车”啦。新新人类说话喜欢带刺儿，不过往往能一矢中的。我跟儿子说，儿子，你在这个问题上讽刺我，我真有点难过。
人总在向上攀比中感到自己穷。李嘉诚虽富，想到比尔·盖茨，他会感到自己穷。比尔·盖茨富，让他造几艘航母或者航天飞机，他也会觉得自己不够富。相对意义的“穷”，是帝王般开疆拓土的雄心与国界限定性的矛盾，是自我的内心欲望结出的青葡萄。
与“穷”相对的是“富”。在一个倡导创富的时代，穷，是我们每个人需要去摆脱的缰绳和枷锁。其实，这种意识和倡导本身，就是一种发展和进步。我爸那个时代，美女都爱嫁贫农。我爸一辈子，忌讳“富”字犹如瘌痢头忌讳“光”字。他出身富农家庭，没有享受到富的待遇，却要承受富的压迫。因为这个从没让他得到过实惠的“富”字，他在单位不能入党和提干，只能回家喝闷酒。他在口头上凶猛地讨伐“富”，是想摆脱富的阴影;在那些求一根劣质香烟而不可多得的日子里，他又明白自己很穷，心里又巴望能真的富一点。这是一种无奈的穷而酸。
处在“穷”的状态，内心有一种煎熬，穷，并不是一种美好的感觉，也未必能与美德挂钩。但并不可怕，日子总能对付，西哲罗素先生说，穷最可怕的后果，是让穷扭曲了自己的思维。
在一个倡导创富的时代，如何面对自己的“穷”。这是一个问题。其实，罗素先生给我们提了个醒。欲望一天天累积，一天天得不到满足，因而产生憋屈，产生怒火。所谓穷而不酸，是说要求消除因穷产生的怨愤。置身于“穷”，首先要有耐心，其次要心*气和。
买不起车，不用小刀划豪车上的油漆;住不起别墅，见了别墅，不要祝愿小偷出入其间;见富人打个饱嗝，不去想象那一桌子生猛海鲜;见了富人的脚后跟，也不怂恿小狗去追逐。
当我步行去上班时，想到了散步的种种好处，但同时又意识到，如果用散步的种种好处去抵挡车的诱惑，这又是一种酸。穷和富既对立也转化，穷需要思变。今后，我会像田鼠一样时时耸起耳朵，像猫头鹰一样睁开夜的眼睛，找准时机，向“穷”宣战!

My topic is Honesty. As a correspondent of the Qingdao Morning News, I visited Dr. James Gilman, the President of the International Committee for Marco Polo Studies in England. In this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon’s tooth. This is a true story. /chuzhong/chusan/ 65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old.
He often visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted one to keep as a treasure. In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had to leave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one of the teeth from the dragon’s mouth.
He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 20xx, he visited Qingdao and returned it to the Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome.
When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported on his visit. I was dee*** touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I think to err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correct one’s error. Honesty is a vital quality of human behaviour. So we should try to keep an honest mind in everything we say and do. As you can imagine, as international students in Australia, the biggest challenge is English,
I remembered that when I come here first time, there is a party in the house of my home stay. During the time, they played jokes and they laughed all the time, do you know how embarrassed that is, everyone laughed except you. When I came to Wantirna College first time, I met liz collar who is international student coordinator. She is very kind to me, and she encourage me join SRC, I went to SRC meetings regularly all the time, but I didn’t even know what SRC was!
