小仓鼠从小时候灰色的毛到如今已经灰白色了，看来确实老了。动作也有点不灵活，好像“老态龙钟”，今年夏天高温，它不爱吃鼠粮，可把我急坏了。每天我想着法子给它变换着吃黄豆、绿豆、蛋糕、西瓜、瓜子等等，俗话说“人是铁饭是钢、一天不吃饿得慌”，宠物也是一样，一定要记得天天喂它，让它每天都有食欲。
小仓鼠很爱干净，我隔三差五就要冲洗鼠笼、铺上干木屑。现在小仓鼠只要听到我的叫唤，便会立刻爬上楼梯到上层的小屋里来吃食物。它已经很*惯听我的声音了。有时候我觉得它整天关在鼠笼里怪可怜的，就会让它出来“放放风”、溜达一圈，那是它最开心的时候。

There is no denying the fact that keeping pets is a hotly debated topic today. Some people claim that keeping pets is a good thing to do.
