How to Use the Library
A library is a building for a collection of books, magazines, periodicals and newspapers. The books are kept on the shelves in the stack room whereas rihe magazines,journals,etc. in the reading rooms. Modern libraries also have xerox rooms, and com*r rooms.
If you want to borrow books, you can go to the loan desk, look over the correct call numbers in the card catalog and ask the librarian to take them out for you. Or you＇re allowed to enter the stack room to find books for yourself, you can look up the bound volume of index for the articles relative to the subject, on which you are going to write a thesis. If the library doesn＇t subscribe to the magazine which carries the article you want, you can borrow the magazine from other libraries by means of interlibrary loan service. Don＇t forget to show your library card or I.D. card to the librarian before you go into the reading room, where you can read magazines or newspapers. If you find a good article and want to keep it, you can have it duplicated in the xerox room. Besides, if you want to watch films or slides, you can ask the projectionist to play the videotape for you in theaudio-visual room, where you can.also listen to language tapes and music tapes.

第二天大课间做眼保健操的时候，我和同学们一起来到图书馆借书。在图书馆中，我嗅到了书香的气息，畅游在了知识的海洋，每一本书都在向我招手。突然一本书进入了我的眼帘，我好想借那本书啊，可是图书管理员今天有事不在，我心里就像有二个小人在打架，一个说：“把那本《森林报》拿下来吧，在偷偷把你的借阅卡放上去，等你看完的时候在偷偷放回来，这样谁也不知道了。”另一个小人说：“不要拿那本书，老师提醒过我们，有图书管理员的地方才能借书。”最终我想起了张老师的话，有图书管理员在的地方才能够借书的，我只好忍痛放弃拿在手上的这本书，走向有图书管理员的区域选书。
虽然借到的这本书并不是我最想借到的那本，但这本书也很有趣，里面有我未接触的故事，还有一片我从没了解的`天空。更让我知道了选择的重要，适当的放弃可以更好地选择。

图书馆的历史十分悠久。早在公元前3000年前，巴比伦的神庙中就收藏了各类珍贵的文献资料。根据历史学家的考证，世界上最早的图书馆是位于美索不达米亚的亚述巴尼拔图书馆。同时，这也是现存的规模最宏大，书籍最齐全，保存最完整的古代图书馆。比埃及的亚历山大图书馆要早整整400年，而且也没有像亚历山大图书馆那样因为战乱被毁。并且亚述巴尼拔图书馆中大部分书籍都较完整地被保存了下来。
而在我国，图书馆一开始并不叫做“图书馆”，而是被冠以各式各样的其他名号。例如西周的盟府、两汉的石渠阁、东观、兰台，隋代的观文殿、宋代的崇文院等等，都是我国古代著名的图书馆。而现在我们普遍接受的“图书馆”这一称呼，其实是个外来词汇。图书馆为人们提供了许多服务。图书馆利用其收藏和设施直接向读者提供文献和情报的一系列活动。

昨天下午的课间，我和几个同学去图书馆借书。
来到图书馆，我们发现卷闸门没有开，个个急得像热锅上的蚂蚁。调皮的高亦祎说：“把它掀开不就行了嘛？”说罢，随着一声“轰隆轰隆”的巨响，就把卷闸门掀开了。突破了卷闸门，下一层关卡就是最难的折叠门，高亦祎再次“挺身而出”，又听见“轰隆”一声，折叠门也开了。大家一拥而入，可是，走*一看，发现还有一道铁门没有开，我们大失所望。高亦祎一气之下，转身就走，顺手把门一关，门锁住了，我的手被夹了，李子诺和杨书然也被困在里边了。他俩使出全身力气拉门，我的手才被解救了出来。想到两位同学还被关在里面，我顾不得手疼，心急如焚地跑去找门卫师傅，却没有找到。我担心他们等急了，又立刻跑回去告诉他俩：“暂时还没找到钥匙，别着急……”李子诺见我跑得上气不接下气的样子，急忙安慰我说：“没关系，别急，咱们再好好想想！”这时，我猛地想起教导处管理功能教室应该有钥匙，我急忙跑到教导处去找老师拿钥匙。老师见我跑得满头大汗，忙说：“别急，怎么回事？慢慢说。”听我说完两位同学被困在图书馆以后，老师给了我一大串钥匙，我火速跑回那栋楼，一把一把地试，终于，试到那把相匹配的钥匙了！
门打开了，两位同学被我“营救”出来了，我们紧紧地拥抱在一起，激动地欢呼着，相互感谢着彼此的帮助！
虽然这次“营救”事件惊心动魄，但是我们都非常开心，因为在困难面前，我们互相帮助，通过自己的努力一一解决了难题，我们都是最棒的！
今天，我和我的好朋友——李语涵约好一起去镜湖区图书馆。这是我俩第一次去图书馆。
一进门，好安静呀。先看到**阅览区，只见一排排高大的书架上整齐地按类别摆放着一本本书籍。大家都安静地坐在椅子上看书，还有一些大哥哥、大姐姐在书桌上写作业。**区旁边有一扇玻璃门，我和李语涵悄悄地推门进去，看见书架上都是报纸、杂志，很多老年人戴着老花镜、端着茶杯在看报纸。我俩又悄悄地关门出来了。“快过来！”只听李语涵轻声地在叫我，原来她看见了儿童阅览区，我赶紧跑了过来。哇，儿童区里的书架、书桌椅都是卡通造型，墙面都贴着鲜艳的图画，真漂亮呀！好多小朋友喜爱的图书，比如《成龙历险记》、《谜语大全》、《十万个为什么》、《四大名著》……还有小宝宝爱看的绘本故事书，真是应有尽有！我俩立即沉浸在书的海洋里，享受着阅读的乐趣。
我和李语涵都觉得镜湖区图书馆真是夏天的一个好去处，因为这里不仅凉快、安静，而且图书都好看极了！我俩约定以后还要一起经常来图书馆看书。
今天早上，我去图书馆看书。我看的书是《笨狼和胖棕熊先生》。主要是说笨狼有个偶像，想让偶像帮他签。然而他每次去都是签字完毕。笨狼想让偶像签，偶像却说：“我签了100个名字。如果手累了，怎么办？我不会练拳好不好？”这只笨狼不得不悲伤地回家。于是他向古斯太太学了手语。不久之后，狼终于学会了签名。于是他在棕熊先生家的所有衣服上签了名。棕熊先生非常生气。他不知道是笨狼，就问笨狼：“你上次怎么给我们洗衣服的？”愚蠢的狼说，"首先。"
把米倒进盆子里，之后倒点水……”嫩狼输完之后，胖棕熊先生向笨狼说了一声谢谢，它赶紧回家洗衣服了。

这座图书馆是用强防震保护膜建造而成的，就算地震了它也依旧安然无恙。它的屋顶也十分牢固，不仅防震，还防水呢！小至下雨，大到海啸统统都被它拦在外头。
走进图书馆的大门，一阵舒缓的音乐响起，使你放松下来。再向里走，你会看见一架电梯，其实那是飞速穿梭机。走进飞速穿梭机，并点击你右手边的按钮，选择你的心情，飞速穿梭机就会在三秒内带你到最适合你看的书的那排书架边去。
如果找不到你想看的书，没关系。你只要找到休息厅中央的那三台机器，在上边写下书名，机器就会告诉你那本书在哪里。如果想不起书名，你可以去看电子书，我们的电子书可是十分先进的，无辐射，不伤眼！不过你一旦看了太久的书，电子书上会浮现出一行字：休息一下吧，别伤到眼睛呦！
接下来，我就介绍一下休息厅。休息厅左右两侧分别摆着6盆花花草草，所以图书管理空气清新，还带有一股花香。休息厅的墙壁是玻璃的（也防震），当你坐在沙发上时，阳光透过玻璃照在你身上，是不是十分惬意？休息厅有9个小沙发，6个大沙发，15张小圆桌。每张圆桌上都摆着不同的甜品，令人垂涎欲滴。

其他同学也都陆陆续续地找到了自己喜欢的书，我们拿着书来到图书管理员那里，登记了一下自己的书名和姓名，管理员把我们的书籍信息都输入了电脑，嘱咐我们必须好好保管借去的书，我们就开开心心地拿着书回到教室里读了起来。
这是我们第一次到学校图书馆借书，每个人都觉得特别新鲜，我们要好好看借来的书，以后借书的机会肯定会更多的。
记得刚上一年级的时候，学校为我们办了一张图书馆借书证，老师鼓励我们多去图书馆借书，于是，我带着兴奋的心情来到了图书馆，舒服的座椅，丰富的书籍，使我常常利用下课时间去借书，和它有了第一次的接触。

今天早上风和日丽，阳光明媚。带着我和一起去图书馆看书。
当我们兴高采烈地来到了图书馆，这里已经有来了许多人，他人有的在书架上找书，有的在旁边津津有味地读着手中的书。看到此时的情景，我急得一蹦三跳地来到了少年阅读区，寻找自己喜爱的书去了。
在少年阅读区，也有许多的.人聚精会神地看着书。我在众多的书籍中找到了一本名字叫《三剑客》的书，这是著名作家杨鹏写的。杨鹏是我最喜欢的作家。我看过他的作品《装在口袋里的》。杨鹏写的书都十分有科幻性和想象力。一拿到《三剑客》这一本书，我就认真地看了起来。书中拥有超能力的三个人杨歌、白雪、张小天给我留下了深刻的印象，他们用智慧打败了重重邪恶的阻挡，他们三个英勇对敌，十分勇猛。看着看着，我已经完全入迷了……时间在不知不觉中过去了，直到妈妈和哥哥叫我回去时，我才清醒过来。不得已，我只好放下了书，依依不舍地离开了这里。
图书馆里真是书的，知识的天堂，有时间，我还会再来了。

哇！今天的人可真多啊！阅读桌已经坐满了小朋友和爸爸妈妈。我跑到科学书架旁边，找一本我喜欢的书看看！《拯救地球》这是一本漫画书，里面可以翻动的，人类要保护我们的地球，书里给我们讲许多的知识。我站在书架旁，津津有味的看起来。看完了再找另一本，这里的书非常非常多，你是看不完的，我们可以把它借回家慢慢看。
最后，妈妈帮我挑选了《马小跳游埃及》《木偶奇遇记》《生活大发现》等等。只有爸爸刷卡，我们就可以把书带回家啦！

今天，我和我的好朋友——李语涵约好一起去镜湖区图书本馆。这是我俩第一次去图书本馆。
一进门，好安静呀。先看到**阅览区，只见一排排高大的书本架上整齐地按类别摆放着一本本书本籍。大家都安静地坐在椅子上看书本，还有一些大哥哥、大姐姐在书本桌上写作业。**区旁边有一扇玻璃门，我和李语涵悄悄地推门进去，看见书本架上都是报纸、杂志，很多老年人戴着老花镜、端着茶杯在看报纸。我俩又悄悄地关门出来了。“快过来！”只听李语涵轻声地在叫我，原来她看见了儿童阅览区，我赶紧跑了过来。哇，儿童区里的书本架、书本桌椅都是卡通造型，墙面都贴着鲜艳的图画，真漂亮呀！好多小朋友喜爱的图书本，比如《成龙历险记》、《谜语大全》、《十万个为什么》、《四大名著》……，还有小宝宝爱看的绘本故事书本，真是应有尽有！我俩立即沉浸在书本的海洋里，享受着阅读的乐趣。
我和李语涵都觉得镜湖区图书本馆真是夏天的一个好去处，因为这里不仅凉快、安静，而且图书本都好看极了！我俩约定以后还要一起经常来图书本馆看书本。

12月11日 星期天 晴
在这风和日丽的日子，我兴高采烈的外出走一走。我一边走一边绞尽脑汁的想等会儿要去哪里，最后，我决定到图书馆，好好的享受一下读书的乐趣。
到了图书馆，我看到了包罗万象的书，我选了一本书，书名是《少年小树之歌》，我一心一意的看着这一本书，希望成为一位知书达礼的人。这一本书事描述一位小男孩在森林里的一生。我还看了最好的朋友，这一本书是说有两个好朋友，突然之间分离，但最后重逢了。我又看了两本书，分别是《小王子》、《做自己的导演》，这两本书都让人喜出望外。
其中我最喜欢的一本书是做自己的导演，里面是由很多文章所组成的，虽然篇幅很短，但是却有很多知识。其中有一篇文章让人“泪如雨下”、“泪流满面”、“悲不自胜”，非常感人。内容是说有一个家庭里头有两个人，但因为太疲累了，两位女生最后香消玉殒了，这篇文章写得很感人，我不禁流下了眼泪。
读书不但能变得知书达礼，还能让生活更丰富。这次去图书馆真是让我满载而归啊！
今天，我和妈妈一起去图书馆看书。来到了图书馆后，我一看，哇。真是人山人海呀。全都是来看书的。我随即上到了二楼，二楼使我大吃一惊。二楼与一楼截然不同，二楼看书的人都很安静。连一根针掉下地的声音都听的到。实在是太安静了。这里的书有童话类的，有科技类的，有文学类的……真是琳琅满目、应有尽有。一排排的图书被管理员们整理得整整齐齐，分得清清楚楚。我把每一种种类都看了一下，最终选了动漫类和小说类的图书来看。
我找了一个座位坐了下来。拿了一本叫做《冒险小虎队》的书。这一本书越看越恐怖，我没多久就把它放回了原位。又拿了一本书来看。这本书叫做《故事会》。这一本书里的故事又多又好看，有趣极了。我看得津津有味，越看越入迷。有一个故事引起了我的注意，里面的内容是：一个人是个表演变脸的，他得知有一张“九变神脸”流传在人间。他便四处寻找，半年过后，他找到了，并且学会了怎样变这张“九变神脸。”我一边看，一边拿出摘录本把书里的好词好句都记到本子上。
看完了这本书，我都已经看厌了小说了。就拿了一本动漫书来看。这一本书叫做《南非寻宝记》，这本书的.主角是一个小孩，他整个寻宝过程既刺激又有趣，我肚子都笑疼了。我看见别人都很安静地看书，就立刻停止了笑声，就算笑也不出声。
时间过得飞快，妈妈要来接我回家了。这时，我也看的差不多四本好看的书了。我便依依不舍地回家了。

今天妈妈带我和妹妹去图书馆看书，妈妈把我们领到图书馆里之后就去逛街了。临走前一再嘱咐我两在她回来之前不能离开原地，她一会就回来。我便爽快的答应了！其实我早就满脑子是白雪公主，格林童话了等！ 今天大有收获看了好多我想看的书， 今天都过了一遍 。让我心里 最 难受就是卖火柴的小女孩她太可怜了那么冷的天没吃没穿又冷有饿的。我想假如我有法术的话我就会变一座漂亮的房子，一个大大的床一床厚厚棉被然后再变一桌丰富的菜肴。
送给小女孩，最后再变几个小伙伴当她的好朋友。那该多好啊！姐姐；妹妹很着急的叫我她发火了说我都叫了你好几声了，叫**嘛！我不耐烦的说；她说；‘我要上厕所’，糟糕！这儿没厕所，我说这没厕所等妈妈吧！她居然哭了。
我只好带她 下楼往外走了。刚走到 楼梯口，妈妈进来了。妈妈看见我俩在往外走于是不分青红皂白对我开骂了；我说过不要往外跑怎么不听话这样的话以后别再来了偶到坏人怎么？我正要解释但已经来不及了，骂都已经骂了。 这时妹妹飞快的跑出门外去了，妈妈说她咋了，她尿尿 我很生气的回答妈妈。妈妈一下子面部表情变了 说原来这样你两就出来了吗？我很不高兴的`嗯了一声转身就上电梯了。
不到一会的功夫，妈妈拉着妹妹又上来了。然后我们继续看书但我怎么都看不进去了，翻翻这本看看那本好像都没兴趣似的。妈妈似乎看出了我。说今天带你俩去吃烤肉怎么样。我没理妈妈 妈妈笑呵呵的说不吃就回家写作业吧！我还是没什么反应。这下妈妈着急了，终于向我道歉了。最后带着我和妹妹吃我*时最爱吃的烤肉去了。
