When my professor again encouraged me to take part in this Competition, I said “no.” I couldn’t endure yet another painful experience. He looked me straight in the eye and said something that pierced my heart. I will never forget his words. “Look,” he said, “We all have our fears, and you have yours. You could twist your ankle in a basketball game, but then be afraid to ever play again. Running away can never dispel your fears, but action will. A winner is not one who never fails，but one who never quits.”
I spent a whole day with his words twisting and turning in my mind. Then I made the bravest and wisest decision of my life: I would face my fears – and take part in the competition!
As it turned out, my dear old professor was right. Now, here I am, once again standing before a microphone. My heart is beating fast, and my mouth is dry, but most importantly, I have faced my fears -- and that makes all the difference!

when i was young, i used to be very naughty. life then was like a glaball ,shining with bright colours. i had once gone down to the river bank, catching a great many worms and was afterwards punished by mum. i had ever cut the pillow towel into pieces in order to make clothes for my dolls. similarly, i was then blamed seriously. once i even put the hot iron on the floor which immediately burnt a big hole on the carpet. although i had done so many annoying things, my childhood seemed to be rather colourful. however, i had never had a clear definition about myself. but then something happened. it had made a great difference to my life and made who i am now.
i had always been afraid of having the intravenous drop in hospital. the first time i was taken to have the drop, i cried for almost half an hour and finally gave off at father's severe scolding. watching the cold needle stabbing into my skin, i cried even more loudly. at that time, i never dared to take a glance at my hand and always needed my mother to stay with me at my side. even if mum had told me many times," honey, there’s nothing to be scared of. just close your eyes and sleep." i would still keep my eyes wide open, watching the liquid flow through the bottle and never slept.

When I walked into the cover letter middle school auditorium along with the crowd, I saw the familiar faces -- my classmates. They each person's face is permeated with the sense of excitement, may be because the long-expected festival had finally arrived!
After long prologue in school, we began our festival finally!

Why does football get people into a frenzy?
Who is your idol? It may be Napoleon, Picasso, or Michael Jackson. But who is my idol? Can you guess? It is Ronaldo. He is the No. 1 super star of football.
Football is a game in which 22 people chase one ball around a large field. The aim of the game is to get the ball into the net to score.
After all, it’s such an easy game, and yet people go crazy mad over it. The answer lies in two facts. One is the game itself. Sometimes it is beyond any description. Football is a game of passes and techniques, passion and love, more importantly, unity is the key---the whole team working as one, united they will never be defeated.

the president did know that it was republican money, that it was money from the committee for the re-election of the president, which was found in the possession of one of the burglars arrested on june the 17th. what the president did know on the 23rd of june was the prior activities of e. howard hunt, which included his participation in the break-in of daniel ellsberg's psychiatrist, which included howard hunt's participation in the dita beard itt affair, which included howard hunt's fabrication of cables designed to discredit the kennedy administration.
we were further cautioned today that perhaps these proceedings ought to be delayed because certainly there would be new evidence forthcoming from the president of the united states. there has not even been an obfuscated indication that this committee would receive any additional materials from the president. the committee subpoena is outstanding, and if the president wants to sup*** that material, the committee sits here. the fact is that on yesterday, the american people waited with great anxiety for eight hours, not knowing whether their president would obey an order of the supreme court of the united states.

I received a devastating blow to my self-confidence in the first interview of my college years. I applied to be a host in our Student Acting Troupe and felt confident that I would be accepted. But one of the panel members told me: "You seem inadequate and you are a little vertically-challenged." My life has never been the same since. Given a choice, I would rather be ugly than live in such a world. I'd rather be a genuine dwarf accompanying a Snow White than be a Snow White among nothing but Snow Whites. I would rather be myself. 今天由我来为大家进行课前三分钟的演讲，我感到十分的荣幸。今天我演讲的主题就是自信。
不知道大家有没有听过这么一句话：“我宁愿选择骄傲也不选择自卑。因为骄傲需要资本，资本需要积累，积累需要汗水，而自卑却什么也不需要。”这句话是我在看乔松楼将军在复旦大学演讲视频时偶然间听到的。
每个人的人生都并非一帆风顺，并非永无波浪的湖面。而是一场充满艰辛，坎坷，曲折，充满挑战与挫折的旅途。属于我们的每一个新的一天都是一次挑战。在迎接每日的朝阳时，我们需要足够的自信来克服遇到的困难，不要一遇到一点困难就觉得是世界末日了，其实都会过去的，并没有那么困难。
爱因斯坦的之后，有人曾炮制了一本《百人驳相对论》，网罗了一批所谓名流对这一理论进行声势浩大的挞伐。可是，爱因斯坦自信自己的理论必然胜利，对哒伐不屑一顾。他说：“假如我的理论是错的，一个人反驳就够了，一百个零加起来还是零。”
同学们，或许我们无法成为像爱因斯坦一样成为为社会做出极大贡献的人。但我们依旧应该向他一样自信的面对一切，面对困难，面对挫折，或许前面有很多的机会在等着我们。
居里夫人说过：“我们应该有恒心，尤其要有自信心！我们必须相信，我们的天赋是要用来做某种事情的.，无论发生什么事情，活着的人总要照常工作。”正是自信，支持她在经受了失恋、丧夫、社会上的流言蜚语等打击之后，两次荣获了诺贝尔奖，为人类的科学事业做出了巨大的贡献。

大家好！我是王商弘，今天我**下讲话的主题是“青春，很美”。“让青春烈火燃烧永恒，让生命闪电划过天空，用所有热情挽回时间，让年轻的梦没有终点。”这是我非常喜欢的《烈火青春》中的话，它让我时时感受着青春的美。我相信，上周五的下午尽管是阴雨绵绵，可初二的同学们，应该都很清楚的记得，那天，我们离开了少先队，走入了属于自己的青春。
曾经年幼无知的我们踏入了一年级，光荣的成为一名少先队员，佩戴上了鲜艳的红领巾。“我们是***的接班人。”不知道这句歌词是否已经印在了我们的脑海中，一个响亮的口号“我们时刻准备着！”，同样怀揣着我们的希望。可，就在那天，我们解下了红领巾，并且小心翼翼地把它放在了信封中，一块红领巾，陪伴了我们将*八年的时光，它陪伴着我们的成长，陪伴我们经历了欢笑与泪水，但这一切童年美好的回忆还是被我们悄悄地埋藏在了信封里，即使，我们不再是少先队员，可是我们都希望，红领巾能够永远那么的鲜红！那么的耀眼！
踏入青春，同样意味着我们正在成长，而此时此刻，看着我们从牙牙学语一步步走到现在的父母们同样有许多话语想要表达。就在大家还望着信封中的.红领巾时，又一封神秘的信件落到我们的手中，是熟悉的字迹，是熟悉的称呼，是熟悉的话语，不知道大家是否像我一样，打开信封，是厚厚的信纸，是密密麻麻的文字。“爸爸看着你一步步走到现在，爸爸很为你骄傲，以你为荣，希望你在自己的青春道路上能够越走越远，越走越远！”这是父亲写给我的祝福，虽然简单，可我却潸然泪下，因为我不知道这封信中有多少的父爱有多少的欣慰又有多少的感动，我们或许会和他们吵架斗嘴，甚至会想要赶快长大离开他们，但，其实他们一直都在默默的守护着我们，给予我们最温暖的依靠。青春已经来临，我们的青春会让他们变得苍老，我们应该谢谢他们给予了我们美好的青春。
属于我们的青春节就这样悄悄的过去，可，青春正大踏步地向我们走来，我们会珍藏童年的纯真、无拘无束，带着老师、父辈的期待，去拥抱青春的闪烁、璀璨。
孟郊曾在《劝学》中说“击石乃有火，不击元无烟。人学始知道，不学非自然，万事需己运，他得非我贤。青春须早为，岂能长少年。”亲爱的同学们，青春很美，让我们莫负青春！

水是万物之源，是自然界不可缺少的物质。有了水，才有了令人向往的美景，才有了自然界无穷无尽的能量。*年来，电视节目中经常提到水资源短缺问题：黄河的许多河段已越来越浅，渭河已见断流，汾河水也早已不再奔流，而淮河、太湖等的水污染警报更是频频传来。更令人心忧的是，一些地处西部偏远地区的小山村，缺水缺到过年才能分到五斤水的地步。就说我外婆家的小河里的水也比以前浅了许多许多，童年的往事想来有趣，令人发笑，它们就像一颗颗珍珠在眼前浮现，往年，在那小河里游泳，河水到我脖子里，可是现在游泳浅的地方到我大腿，深的到我肚子。

这个月我读了《西游记》这本书，我觉得这本书很精彩!它主要的内容是唐僧师徒四人要去西天取经，他们在取经的过程中遇到了很多困难，也碰到了许多妖怪，悟空、沙僧和八戒他们三人是如何拿出武器面对这些困难，打败它们，顺利地去西天取经。
我最喜欢的一段是“三打白骨精”，它主要讲的内容是：有一天，唐僧师徒四人来到白骨精的洞口，白骨精知道吃了唐僧肉，可以长生不老，但又看见悟空、八戒和沙僧守在唐僧身边，于是她就想出了变身的'办法去骗唐僧。她先用两种变身来到唐僧面前，但都被悟空识破了。当她最后一次变身的时候，悟空便把她打死了。
我觉得悟空他非常善良，也非常有责任心，而且他也很勇敢，尽管他知道唐僧会念紧箍咒，但为了唐僧的安全，他还是打死了白骨精。我觉得悟空、沙僧和八戒他们三人都很坚强勇敢，也很会积极地想办法去面对这些困难，打败这些妖精，帮助唐僧顺利地去西天取经。读了这本书，我要向他们学*，以后要更加坚强勇敢，也要积极地去想办法，解决生活和学*中的问题。

接着我想说，教授我们知识的老师同样非常的不容易，我们应该懂得尊敬他们，这一年，对于我们压力很大，对于老师们的压力同样也很大，他们肩负着学校给予的重任，我们有时会很叛逆，总是跟老师拧着走，但我想说，毕竟我们就高考一次，而教授我们的老师们最少也带过三四轮高三了，总结了一定的经验，听他们的话，按照他们说的做，只会对我们有益，所以高三这年收起我们的叛逆，做个听老师话的好学生，加上我们自身的勤奋努力，高考一定会考个不错的成绩！
最后我想说与朋友相处的好是你为人处事最好的'见证，不论之前的我们是个怎么样的人，高三这一年我们都要试着在困难面前选择微笑，不论在心情多么烦躁的时候，在朋友面前都要保持微笑，不要把负面情绪带给我们的朋友们，她们也许和我们一样有很多苦闷，也许并没有说出来向你抱怨，为的是使我们能够开心一些，学会自己承担一些处理不好的事情，毕竟一些事情还是要自己来，愿我们都做一个小太阳，天天充满正能量！
在处理好这些关系的同时我们也应明白我们不负高三，高三也就不会负我们，我们在高三这一年所倾注的心血，流过的汗水，撒下的泪滴都将化为我们在高考中取得优异成绩的动力。高三这一年我们的最终目标就是高考。高尔基说过，世界上最快而又最慢，最长而又最短，最*凡而又最珍贵，最容易被忽视而又最另人后悔的就是高考。我们高考成绩的高低，意味着我们将被分配什么样儿大学，受到怎么的教育。我们所能做的，就是提升自己的综合实力，能受到良好的教育，在这四年中我们能够被好的气氛感染，虽然高考不是唯一的出路，但是它却是最好的出路。最后，再送上一句：不要抱怨制度，如果你觉得不好，把改变它当成你的梦想，努力去实现它吧！

幸福没有解释，似乎是一个简简单单却遥不可及的词语!我要什么没什么，但我幸福。许多人都问着：幸福是什么?

在一个烟雨淅沥的午后，独自来到阳台上，看着那与露珠跳舞的花草们，听着屋檐上水滴滑落的声音，这不是一场优美、动人的音乐会吗?
不知从哪里飘来一张纸，上面有着我喜欢听的歌的歌词。死光的脑细胞瞬间恢复了，音乐会怎能少得了个去呢!我快速奔下楼，拿来手机播放这首歌。
听着，听着，我想起了与四档之间的点点滴滴，不禁跟着哼起来。渐渐地，我能看着歌词一字不漏的唱出来了：“……是你的`双眼折射思恋，用微笑欺骗……我放开了手，却张不开口，是你的微笑让我沉默接受……lovingyoubabyletisgo)……”这首歌的名字叫《想陪你一起走到终点》我和死党都特别的喜欢。

“你在位时，他们任你呼来喝去，愿为你‘上刀山，下油锅’，对你百般听从，一个个奴颜婢膝。而今，树倒猢狲散，大难来时各自飞。不必说来安慰你，即便是来探望的也恐怕是空无一人吧！‘当权皱眉有人问，退位饿死无人知。’”音调降了下来，如泣如诉。
“媚娘，你是一个坚强的女人，更是一个伟大的明君。你一生无愧天下苍生，你做到了，做到了让有才能的*民也能当宰相。因为你是从*民中崛起的，你强制推行的《姓氏录》是为了让被人歧视的.家族不会永远沦落。你成功了——光大了武家，也兴复了李唐王朝。”她冷笑一生，仿佛受到了无尽的冤枉与委屈。

In short, I believe self-confidence to be the most important factor in success. It enables people to take risks, try again when they fail, and enjoy their accomplishments when they win. With these abilities, a confident person can succeed easily at school or work.

right now, i’m standing on this glamorous stage. but everything here reminds me of is a not so fun memory. around this time last year i was in nanjing competing in another speech contest. that was the first time for me to be in such a large event. of course the pressure i was under was immense too. after a sleepless and stressful night, i went onto that stage without the feeling in my legs. that speech turned out to be horrible. i don’t remember how i get down from there, but i do remember afterwards i just wanted to find a hole to hide in just like the ant in the story. back at my school, it took a long time for me to recover. thanks to all the help i got from my special friends. my confidence was restored. after rounds of giving speeches and answering tough questions, i am here today. from all that i’ve been through i’ve learned that a good future is based on a forgotten past, if i want my life to go on well i have to let go of my past failure. so today, with out fear, i am tripping my elephant again.
