On Christmas Day, both armies moved from their positions to engage in the killing of war at other battlefields. However, on Christmas Eve 1914 on a field in Flanders, there was Peace on Earth.
Christmas is a truly amazing phenomenon. The day and season perpetuate a miraculous, historical event as an annual presence that challenges an often rough, cruel, and egotistical creature -- the human being -- to become open and amenable to their Creators vision. The original Santa Claus, St. Nicholas, was born in the ancient southeastern Turkish town of Lycia early in the fourth century. His generosity was legend, and he was particularly fond of children. From 1863 until 1886, Nast created a series of Christmas drawings for Harper's Weekly. These drawings, executed over twenty years, exhibit a gradual evolution in Santa from the pudgy, diminutive, elf-like creature of Dr. Moore's immortal poem to the bearded, potbellied, life-size bell ringer familiar on street corners across America today. Nast's cartoons also showed the world how Santa spent his entire year constructing toys, checking on children's behavior, reading their requests for special gifts. His images were incorporated into the Santa lore.

It was one of the last days before Christmas, and the as sistants in the large store had their hands full serving eager Christmas shoppers.
At one counter an old lady was choosing gloves red ones for her daugher in law, light blue ones for her niece, pink ones for her grand daughter, green ones for her sister and by the time she had found what she wanted, the counter was covered with pairs of all colors and sizes.
When the salesgirl had finally written out the bill and was about to turn to the next customer with a tired voice. "Thank you very much, madam," the old lady suddenly cried out, "Oh, I almost forgot..."――"Anything else, madam?" said the girl, "Yes," began the old lady, "I'd like to buy another pair, but I' m not quite sure about what exactly I should cloose. 在圣诞节那一天，有一个同学告诉我，他说：“琳子，我和你是很好的朋友，对吗？”我愣了一下，不知*日里嘻嘻哈哈的她为何变得如此悲愁。我并没有直接回答她，而是轻轻的摸了一下她的脑瓜，问了句“你没发烧吧？”没有，难道你咒我？“”不，不，当然没有，怎么会呢？你是我最铁的哥们啊！“”那就好，你还没回答我的问题呢！“”你是我的死党啊！“我说完后淡淡一笑，敏感的我捕捉到了她眼里一闪即逝的悲伤，我对她说”糖儿，你有事瞒着我！“”嗯，琳子你猜对了，我要转学了。“她*淡的语气中略带悲伤，他不想和我分别啊！“糖，不哭了，我们给你办个欢送会吧！”“好的。”此时的她温顺的像只小绵羊，不知怎么了，一向倔强的我竟抱住糖儿痛哭起来，也许是受我的影响，糖儿也随之哭了……
时间过了很久，很久……
晚上，我准时的来到了班级，同学们都到了。他们脸上洋溢着一种从来没有过轻松的微笑，我一时惊呆了，他们怎会笑得出来，难道是我太紧张了？
正当我疑惑不解的时候，糖儿开口了：“同学们，我们还在一起读书！”我恍然大悟，同学们的笑脸是因为糖儿不走了！
任时光流逝，我和糖儿的友谊永不磨灭，我们一起哭一起笑一起经历种种的困难，在那个圣诞节，我体会到了欢乐与友谊。
今年我得到的圣诞礼物是一个八音琴，八音琴的上半部分是一个水晶球，里面有一辆花车，花车里站着一只打蓝领结的黑兔子，花车外面站着一只戴蝴蝶结的白兔子，他们都笑眯眯地看着我。在那水晶球里的地面是粉色的，小石子全是爱心。水晶球的下面是一条粉紫色的花边，粉色的底座画满了大小不同形态各异的爱心。最让陶醉的是当我拧上八音琴底部的发条，再把它翻过来时一丝丝亮片随着轻柔的音乐缓缓降下，水晶球转呀转，那缤纷的亮片让人恍惚有坐在樱花树下看那花瓣飘落的浪漫。
我实在太喜欢这个礼物了，整天喜滋滋地捧在手里把玩，谁知乐极生悲，一不小心我失手把它扔到了沙发上，底座脱离了主体。
看着我心爱的礼物，我琢磨着怎样才能让它恢复原状，妈妈让我等爸爸回来再修，可我却不太愿意，为了表示我的决心展示我的能力，我认真地观察起“地形”来。
一年一度的圣诞节到了。 晚上，我和阿姨约好在城市广场见面。
我刚到，阿姨和表妹就迎了上来，阿姨说：“走，一起去逛街！”“好！”我爽快地答应了。来到大街上，我看见街上亮着各种各样五光十色的彩灯，还有一棵棵被打扮得绚丽多彩的圣诞树，树上挂着许多礼物，有一个个小鼓、有一个个小铃铛、还有一个个五颜六色的小球……到处都喜气洋洋。
过了一会儿，阿姨说：“一起去吃肯德基吧！”“OK！”我毫不犹豫地说。
我们乘车来到肯德基门口，一进门一个人就把两份礼物送到我和表妹的手里，我们俩一抬头“呀原来是大人假扮的圣诞老人！”我心想。但我还是叫了一声：“圣诞老人您好呀！”“好呀！”圣诞老人回答。
最后，我们来到了一座游乐场，于是我和表妹愉快地玩了起来……
这真是一个有趣的圣诞节。

“难道世上真的有圣诞老爷爷?”“圣诞老爷爷到底是漫画人物，还是爸爸妈妈扮演的?”我真希望有一天能在白茫茫的大雪中听到他沉重的脚步声，在厚厚的积雪中看见他留下的深深的脚印!

尽管深圳这里常年无雪！可我有着新奇的兴奋感。晚上，穿着整洁的新衣裳，来到楼下，眼前的美景扑面而来！楼上挂上了漂亮的装饰。五颜六色的彩灯，一闪一闪的，闪烁着它那五彩缤纷的光芒。
不过，最引人注目的，就是那高高的圣诞树！抬头望着，那颗大大的金星，不管是在白天，还是黑夜，都闪闪发亮！一眼望去，美极了！它就是那颗希望之星，告诉我们有希望事竟成！

“叮叮当，叮叮当，铃儿响叮当…….”伴随着欢快的圣诞歌曲，我们的圣诞小联欢拉开了序幕。
首先，我们开始玩抢椅子的游戏。老师先拿来了四张椅子，三人一组，每组可以玩两次。老师调好了音乐，我一听，哈哈，老师调的音乐是《甩葱歌》。我告诉了林琳，林琳手舞足蹈地跳了起来。游戏开始了，我们有的用手摸着椅子，还有的小心翼翼地慢慢走。忽然音乐停住了，我飞快地坐了下去，那颗悬着的心终于落下来了。我往左边一看，哈哈，江易臻明明身边有一张椅子，他偏偏跟李金昱挤一张椅子。这一局江易臻输了。轮到下一组了，老师让陈嘉乐上去放音乐。他迫不及待地上去了。音乐又开始了，有的同学连音乐都没结束，就把屁股放了上去。音乐又停了，我想坐那个椅子，呀，不能坐！有人已经坐了上去。我又想坐别一张椅子，可都被大家坐上去，就这样，我被淘汰了。
接着，我们开始玩“你比我猜”的游戏了。大家都争先恐后地把手举起来。老师首先请张恩侨上来表演。他发出了一种奇怪的声音，趴在桌子上，把书本和笔盒都搞乱子，我急忙翻了翻本脑子里的“字典”。哈哈！我找到了，我飞快地说出了那个词：“张牙舞爪！”老师兴奋地说：“对了！”我心中暗暗一喜。
“老爸，老爸，我们去哪里呀？……”在《爸爸去哪儿》的合唱中，我们渡过了一个难忘的*安夜。
下午，第一节课上完后，我走进教室时，只见黑板上、讲台上贴着一条条彩纸，还有两三个气球挂在彩纸上。我脱口而出：“哇，好美呀！我们的教室太美了！”我还看见黑板上画着两幅不完整的男女画像。我想，这一定是画鼻子的。 第三节课到了，联欢会就要开始。我们班的同学们异常兴奋，笑声说话声充满了教室，热闹非常。班主任朱老师一进来，教室里立刻安静下来。 主持人张玉婷、杜达凯快步走到讲台上。杜达凯说：“今天是圣诞节，我们来快乐地玩一玩吧。”张玉婷说：“我们来玩第一个游戏——画鼻子。
王浩澜，你来试一试。”王浩澜走到黑板前，把厚布条蒙住眼睛并系好。王浩澜画了一个三角形。这时，教室里哄堂大笑起来。王浩澜转身摘下布条一看，不好意思笑了起来。哈！鼻子画到头发上去了。下一个轮到吕川。吕川戴上厚布条，画了一个圆圈。这时，教室里笑得比上次还厉害。他将鼻子画到耳朵里去了。吕川摘下布条，回到座位一看，自己也笑了起来。接着是王大义。王大义蒙着眼睛画了一个三角形。这时，教室里只有一点点笑声。啊，王大义画鼻子还可以，就是太高了点。如果真有这样的人，别人也会笑死的。 第二个节目是才艺表演。第一个上的是缪斯弹电子琴。嘀嘀哒哒……啦啦嘀嘀……琴声很是动听，曲子优美。他弹得这么好，一定是在家里用了功，苦练出来的。 第三个节目是许艺川唱歌…… 第四个节目是吹气球。大家纷纷高高举起手来，争先恐后都想参加，但只有王翊、吕川、缪斯三位同学被选上了。每人拿着一个气球，看谁吹得大。
王翊一口气就把气球吹得差不多了。吕川吹得很费劲。缪斯还在那儿使劲吹。加油！王翊！……加油！吕川！……加油！缪斯！……最后，吕川把气球吹炸了，缪斯把气球吹飞了，王翊的'还是好的。小王翊胜利了。哇！几十个同学都叫了起来。 最后一个游戏是陈坤同学扮圣诞老人给我们发糖。陈坤把糖一撒，哇！同学们一哄而抢。有的同学扒开人群在地上检，有的同学空中接糖，有的同学互抢，有的同学把手伸到糖袋里抓。
哗！真是热闹。 今天，我们过了一个快乐、开心、美好的圣诞联欢会。要感谢郭忻灵、雷铃两位同学的提议，更要感谢班主任朱国祥老师对这次活动的大力支持。
以前，我不知道有个圣诞节。
现在，我知道圣诞节，就是圣诞老人会给小朋友派发礼物的节日。
因为要考试，有太多作业要做，等我想起今年的圣诞节时，已经是12月25日的晚上了。我嘟着嘴对妈妈说：“妈妈，我还没过圣诞节呢！”妈妈说：“圣诞节是外国的节日，相当于我们的春节。我们不过外国人的节日，我们过我们的春节！”我还是嘟着嘴说：“可是我太想过圣诞节了！为什么圣诞老人就不能给我派发礼物啊？”妈妈眼珠子一转，躬着腰，笑眯眯地对着我说：“圣诞老人也会给你派发礼物的！”我眼前一亮，瞪大眼睛，急切地问：“真的啊？在哪？在哪？”妈妈又笑眯眯地说：“只要你积极投稿，用不了几天，圣诞老人就会给你寄来礼物喽！”我一听，立马一蹦一跳地跑进书房，一边跑一边说：“那我现在立即动笔写！”妈妈又乐呵呵起来，我也开心地笑了。
