The Impact of the Internet on the Way People Communicate
Due to the wide use of puters and the development of Internet, more and more people like to chat on the Internet. We tend to pay more attention to electronic munication than to face-to-face contact.
As electronic munication is not limited by space, we can chat with others where there is Internet with our tools such as puters, mobile phones and pads. However, when we chat with others online, we cannot express our feelings fully. Just as the picture shows, the parents cannot touch or hug their child. We know that body language plays an important role in our
munication, but the electronic munication cannot do this. For example, when we are sad, we need more love and warmth, a real hug from our parents or friends can mean much more to us than just words through electronic munication.
Therefore, though electronic munication brings convenience to our life, I still don?t think the electronic munication can replace face-to-face contact.
I like the winter holiday very much.
Though its very short,I can enjoy the Spring Festival.
I can watch cartoon every day.
I neednt go to school frepuently.
Sometimes I can go to play with my friend outside.
With the festival coming,I can play all the time.
I can play video game with my brother.
I am good at playing PC game.
So I often beats my brother.
Then more and more relative came to my home.
We had dinner together.
Its so lively that Iam very happy.
But I still have to do my homework.
During the holiday,I learned a lot.
I love the winter holiday.
From the sixteenth of January to the seventh of February is our Winter Holiday. I think everybody did a lot of things in the Winter Holiday. But I didn’t. Let you to listen to my story of Winter Holiday.
I spend a lot of time on the homework.. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. Then I listened to the tape, it was nine o’clock. Then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework during the daytime! I’m not very slow but the homework was too heavy!
I’m unlucky on the playing too. I played firecracker but I hurt my finger with the fire. I ‘m careless to kindle the firecracker, so I’m very unlucky.
I still unlucky on my friend’s party. In the morning, I wanted to get up early but I woke up at 10:50. After ten minutes, the party would start! So I only eat a piece of bread then I go to my friend’s home! And I stay at his home for a long time when I came home. My mother and father were very angry and they scolded me!
I’m worried and feel unlucky on my weight. Last term, I was 48 kilogram but now I am 51 kilogram! I must to do banting!
But most important, I have gone to Shanghai Ocean Aquarium, I want to go there very much because I want to see the horse, the monkey……in the sea. Now I’ve done it . It is a bright dot in my Winter Holiday.
My winter holidays plans me studying for my English , I will make great efforts to learn English. Persist in listening to half hours of English every day. I will acplish the school assignment that the teacher arranges best with the quickest speed. I can not forget to take the body exercise certainly also , I may take the body exercise ing drawing out 30- - 1 hours in time in every day.
I play with the once puter ing certainly may draw out one small Duan time , watch one meeting TV or. Certainly need only 1 hour. This it is my winter holidays to plan!
Today is the second day of winter vacation. In order to do winter vacation homework and play happily, I finished "Winter Holiday Garden" in a short time. The big stone in my heart has finally fallen down and I can relax at last. I breathed happily and went to give my father and mother a "congratulations". I thought my father and mother would be happy for me, but I didn't expect my father to be cold and stern. Said: "What's the use of doing so fast? The teacher assigned these assignments are for you to complete in a day or two? Then how can we grasp the knowledge of summer vacation and review the knowledge of last semester?" After I heard, I felt that Dad had a good point. Well, if I had known that, I would not have done it, but what else could I do now? In a word, I would never be like this again.
