二、不能熟练运用简单的语法规则。
有人认为初中英语教学注重语法规则的学*。这一点我不敢苟同。我所接的每一届高一新生中很少有人能熟练的解答各种英语句子成分。从这一点看来，学生在初中阶段并未学懂简单的语法规则。在高中学*及高考淡化语法的现在，常常会有一个误区，那就是有些人认为语法可不学。我认为这是错误的。我们学*一个东西，必定要理解它的本质及规律。语法是法则，是规范，是本质。学生在高中阶段所面对的阅读材料中大多会出现一些复杂的句子和一部分生词。我们不能保证每一个单词都能记忆，这个时候猜词就成为关键。如何提高猜词的成功率？搞清楚句子结构是关键。高一新生本身没有太多的词汇量，加之简单的英语语法不精通。如何去看懂一个句子？英语作为一门语言，句子看不懂，文章看不懂，学*者如何能有信心坚持下去？

在高中英语教学中，英语阅读教学不仅要完成传授语言知识、发展学生语言能力的任务，而且要深化课文的内涵，并扩展课文的外延，把课文空间延伸到社会、生活中去，从而实现知识的有效扩展和迁移，提高阅读教学的效率和质量。但是，在实际的教学过程中，我发现有时过多地对阅读文章进行扩展，反而忽视了学生对课文的理解；过多补充其他内容，结果学生连课文内容都没有理解。所以，我对英语阅读教学扩展活动进行了反思，发现在高中英语阅读教学中，扩展活动要注意以下四个方面，才能更好地保证扩展的有效性。
1．关注阅读材料本身

1.重组。我注意引导学生运用文章中的语言，结合个人体验，在语境中重新组合阅读文章的语言。
2. 转换。指导学生以阅读文章为依托，筛选或改编获取的语言信息，转换文章的某一方面，如文体、表达顺序、情景或人物等，让学生在新的语言环境中进行语言实践。
3. 仿写。指导学生抓住阅读文章中具有明显特征且有价值的精彩片段，让学生既可以针对全篇课文，也可以针对片段练*，包括对句式表达、段落构成、开头结尾或过渡照应等方面的仿写。通过仿写，学生能在模仿中迁移，在模仿中创新。
4. 扩展。可以引导学生运用阅读文章的语言或图式，对文章的概述处或语言的精炼处进行扩展。注意选择的扩展点要恰当，能给学生一定的启迪，而且知识和能力训练的扩散点要明显、丰富，扩展文章的知识层面，培养学生收集信息和处理信息的能力。我们现在所使用的教材，各单元的阅读课文所选的文章内容丰富，涉及面广，能激发学生的兴趣，教材中许多鲜活的人和事也能引起学生的共鸣。因此，在阅读教学中应根据文章主题，结合学生的兴趣、接受能力和表达能力，选择与阅读文章主题相关的切入点，扩展文章的知识，专题不宜过大，应选择素材丰富的具有一定涵盖性、综合性的小专题，让学生能通过阅读独立或合作完成。学生自主或在教师的指导下采集、筛选、分析、综合、提炼和重组相关信息。在收集了一定量的信息后，学生针对专题进行分组讨论。这种既要求学生独立思考又要求学生互动合作的学*方式，能培养学生团结协作、科学求实的优秀学*品质，有助于他们的终生学*及自我发展。经过合作探究之后，学生发言，其他学生补充和完善，教师作出评价。这一环节的主要目的是反馈学生知识扩展的效果，对学生未能发现的问题进行适当点拨，对学生有失偏颇或偏激的观点进行适当纠正。当然，在评价中要注意保护学生开展探究性学*的积极性，要让学生始终感受到探索和研究的快乐。另外，还应注意寓思想品德教育于英语教学之中，努力挖掘教材中的思想教育因素，以知识为载体，适时、适度地渗透思想品德教育，提高学生的思想素质。
总之，我认为通过扩展文章的语言层面、知识层面和情感层面，阅读教学形成了一个培养和提高学生英语素养的有机整体。教师应以动态的、开放的和全面的眼光去审阅文章、扩展文章，努力构建高中英语综合性学*的*台，全面培养学生的英语素养和创新能力。

在现今的高考制度下，口语并不在考试范围内，又由于高中学业负担重，英语难度加大，对学生要求高，英语课时不多，一般每周五到六节英语课，为了赶进度，教学活动是以教师讲授语法规则、分析课文为中心，被舍弃的往往是一些锻炼学生语言能力的活动，如discussion， debate之类的活动。即使这类活动未被舍弃，也常常流于形式，仅为走个过场，教师自身说英语的时间也逐渐减少，久而久之，学生也势必认为这类活动纯粹属于浪费时间，从而导致学生不重视英语口语，从而失去了锻炼语言交际能力的机会。
2.学生害怕说英语
在我的一个重点文科班学生中，就存在这样一种现象：上课很少有学生积极主动地回答问题，即便有，那也就那么几个，而且还是在我的百般鼓励之下。课余时，了解到很多学生都存在着害怕说英语的心理，主要原因有读音不准，因而羞于开口，害怕出错，尤其是害怕在全班面前发言，怕丢面子，没有安全感；或是过多地考虑说出来的英语该用什么时态、语态来表达，于是造成一种心里障碍，不敢大胆说英语。这样的心理状态给口语教学的顺利进行造成极大的障碍。
3.课堂活动缺乏真正的交际

5.学生对话题不熟悉
缺乏相关的语言知识。常用母语虽然大多数学生喜欢小组讨论、角色扮演、辩论等活动形式。但一些学生认为参加活动时对话题不熟悉，或无话可说，不知从何谈起，而有些学生想说却又不知该如何表达。本人认为，这是因为教师在布置口语话题时。没有仔细考虑它是否能引起学生与人交流的愿望。如果教师在布置任务前没有预教相关的词汇及语言知识，没有将任务细分成由易到难不同层次的梯度，没有使前一个任务的完成成为后一个任务展开的铺垫的话，再好的话题学生也难以完成。
二、口语教学的应对策略
1.更新观念，转换角色，口语教学与高考并不矛盾
即便我们目前所做的一切教学活动都是为了高考而服务，但我想说的是口语教学与学生获得高分并不矛盾，反而会在一定程度上起到促进作用，因为听、说、读、写是相辅相成的。一个敢于大胆说英语的学生，势必也会对英语抱有极大的兴趣，从而更有利于英语学*，那最终岂不是一箭双雕。
2.选择合适的口语活动内容
让学生觉得有趣和有话可说是教师选择口语活动内容时需要考虑的两个重要因素。教师应以学生的生活经验和兴趣为出发点精选口语活动内容。可以事先确定多个话题以供学生选择。
3.多种任务形式相结合
在英语口语教学中，可采用不同的形式，鼓励学生积极参与到课堂活动。曾经采用过任务型小组合作的口语教学形式，这为学生在讨论活动中表达思想观点以及听取同伴的想法提供机会，能使每个学生最大限度地参与活动，相互取长补短，并在活动中锻炼口语能力，丰富知识，开拓视野，培养合作精神。Daily report也是项不错的活动，这挑战了部分学生的胆量，其实迈出了第一步，学生的恐惧心理就已经减弱了，这为今后的口语教学又去除了一些困难。
总之，我觉得口语教学应始终贯穿整个英语教学过程，尽管困难重重，但如若能坚持不懈，踏踏实实地做好口语教学中的每一个环节，势必会给英语教学带来极大的帮助，老师和学生也会从中获取成就感与满足感。

一、研究背景
英语中有交际能力与口语交际能力之分，前者指运用各种语言和非语言（如手势，面部表情等）手段进行交际的能力，包括:语言能力、篇章语言能力、社会语言能力和策略能力；后者是指用口语进行交流的能力，以达到交际目的的能力。高中生口语能力主要指通过口头综合运用语言的能力，是交际能力外化的一种表现。笔者曾经对高一年级686位学生做过一次问卷调查，结果显示：对英语口语很感兴趣的同学占45%；对英语口语兴趣一般的占30%；而对英语口语不感兴趣的占25%；在个别访谈中，针对“为何对口语不感兴趣”的问题，大部分学生说“听不懂录音”“听不懂老师讲的英语”“*时很少主动训练口语”。造成高中生口头表达能力薄弱的原因大致有三：一是英语课堂缺乏良好的口语环境，学生很少有自然进行口头表达的机会，即便是复述课文，也是照着课文读，很少真正做到综合运用语言；二是教师忽略了高中生口语能力的培养，认为口语教学是初中阶段的课程目标；三是现行高考还没有把口试成绩纳入总分，只是把口试等级（成绩）作为填报志愿的参考依据，一定程度上抑制了学生口语实践的动机。针对许多高中生对口语学*兴趣不浓、口语教学与评价不足的现状，本文力图探究英语口语能力培养的课程化策略。
二、高中生英语口语能力培养的重要性
在中学英语听说读写四种技能中，“说”的技能至关重要。若把交际能力比作一辆小车，听说读写就是其四个车轮，每个车轮缺一不可，且要保持*衡，车子才能正常运行。同理，“说”与“听读写”之间存在相互作用、相辅相成的关系。一方面，说和写同属产出性技能（productiveskills），说与写存在逻辑序列关系，从说到写是口语向书面与的转换；听和读同属接受性技能（receptiveskills），前者是听觉输入信息，后者是视觉输入信息。另一方面，听和说属于口语（spokenlanguage），读与写属于书面语（writtenlanguage）；口语是第一性的（primary）、书面语是第二性的（secondary），在语言教学过程中，一般也遵循听说领先、读写跟上的原则，即便在高中阶段也要关注口语能力的培养，现有教材十分重视编写相关内容。概言之，听说读写语言技能之间存在相互交织、相互促进的作用。口语能力不仅具有语言功能，而且也有情感功能。Krashen（1985）认为，影响外语学*有三种因素：动机、自信与焦虑。动机是推动人们从事某种行为以达到一定目的之动力，学*动机分为外部动机和内部动机，前者来自于外部因素的影响（如教师或同伴等），后者来自内部的动力（需求、兴趣、求知欲、态度等）。自信是自尊感得到满足的一种情感体验，也是学*者对学*能力和学业成绩的信心；自信由自我效能和自敬两个相互关联的成分构成。焦虑是一种变态情绪，表现为焦急、不安和忧虑，它与学业成绩、水*考试成绩、口头和书面表达能力自信心、自尊心之间都存在负相关；外语学*中存在语言焦虑，即指学生因达不到预期的学*目标而产生的自尊心、自信心受挫。从上述调查结果看，高中生缺少自主训练口语，可能与语言焦虑偏高有关。因此，加强口语能力培养，有助于保持从事口语实践的兴趣，增强学*自信，促进持续的学*驱动力。
三、高中生英语口语能力培养课程化策略
《普通高中英语课程标准（20xx年版）》把学业质量设置为三个水*，每一级水*主要表现为学生在不同复杂程度的情境中，运用知识、技能以及各种重要概念、方法和观念解决问题的关键特征。所谓“课程化”，即根据课程标准结构要素构建口语教学的校本课程，该课程包含基本理念、课程目标、课程结构、课程内容、实施建议五个部分。
1.基本理念

3.课程结构
高中口语教学校本课程的结构分三个部分：一是设计思路，根据高中学段三个年级，设计涵盖三个年级的校本课程，取名为“高中英语口语教学校本课程”，确定为选修课程，从20xx级高一开始使用，教学进度与国家教材基本同步。所学话题与模块1至模块6保持一致；课程开发之后独立装订成册，发给每个学生和课任老师，作为口语教学的必备手册；二是勾勒课程结构示意图（如表1），明确所教年级、对应模块、教学话题、年度课时以及课程学分。必须说明的是：口语课程作为“走班选修课”，原则上每学期10个学时，可以安排每周一个学时、10周完成，或者安排每周2个学时、隔周上课，也可以安排每学年的上学期选修课；对学生学业表现进行评价，纳入高中总学分。
